Riverview Mall — Attraction in Garfield

A great one stop plaza. The gem being Piast meats, and provisions for an excellent selection of Polish goods, ready meals, and Deli area well stocked. Then you have Garfield Bakery, which is okay if you don't mind the lack of service, but Piast also has bread, and baked goods. There is a hair salon which is OK as I'm told, and Sawa travel.. if you don't mind the poor attitude, and cold customer service, as well as paying more for travel then go there. In today's market this agency is not as competitive even amongst the other local agents, and have become much Less accomadating towards there customers. Nice little strip mall which houses a Piast, a bodega / deli, a community bank, a gourmet bakery & doughnut shop, a travel agency, a "new age" beauty salon and a unisex barbershop / hair salon. The parking lot is a bit cramped based on the number and popularity of the stores and services available. However, there is a large amount of overflow parking directly across the street along River Drive (so-called "Park'N'Ride" parking) as well as additional street-side parking directly behind the building (Ann Street) should the parking lot become inundated. The strip mall was a little grungy but Sylvia Lichter who does permanent make up is in that strip and she is awesome. She did a microblading touch up on my eyebrows that I had done in California a year ago and took her time . Now I look like I have real hair on brows. She will be moving though ,can’t remember where.
