Spring Creek Park Preserve — Attraction in Garland

Very cool little place to see some nature & enjoy the forest & creek. Its very unfortunate that lately, it does not feel totally safe to explore, so I one starred the review to caution people who like to go alone.

Lately, there have been very strange individuals soliciting attention & following people around the trails. I've been also approached by males who are lewd, weird & predatory.

Just a caution if you go alone, to be aware of your surroundings. Bring a partner, a dog & personal protection because there is some weird stuff...

I really like this trail and plan on hiking it a lot more often.

The trail is marked well It is clean I encountered 4-6 people on my hour long hike, so not very crowded A lot of tree cover, which is extra wonderful during the summer Not too much traffic noise...but that can be easily remedied with headphones & good music :) It is easy enough that I would consider taking my toddler for a short...

Nice trail but zero signage once you get walking. There are several side trails and it’s unclear at times where they lead. Wound up in a residential neighborhood with a 20 minute road walk back to my vehicle. Part of this walk was down Holford Rd, 2 lane with no shoulder and lots of traffic. This trail needs white paint on the trees to mark the main route…problem solved. Was a nice walk, just not the...
