If I could rate this 2 and a half stars i would. The atmosphere of the overall cafe is nice. It's in a semi busy location but most times it's quiet, almost like a get-away. A great place to study and get drinks. However, I cannot recommend the food. It's not worth the price for it's portion or quality.
Chicken is $7.50 and the fries are $5.20.
The chicken is advertised as being; "Popcorn Chicken (EXTRA CRISPY & JUCIY!)" online on apps such as Uber eats.
The chicken ended up being dry and the flavor was bland with at most the flavor being Cajun flavors, paprika & cayenne with it being a small portion, the same as the fries.
The fries were not seasoned with a lick of salt. I didn't want cheese fries but I half expected at least salt. The quality was also basically the same quality as just frozen fries being fried again. Whether or not they are isn't the point, when you're charged $5.20 for the portion of essentially a "Brown Kraft 100% Recycled 16 oz Chinese Style Takeout Boxes", (go look it up), sized portion of fries that only fills half of the box itself. You expect it to be decent quality.
The drink was okay but gets heavily diluted with some of the flavors and combo's available. I got Viet coffee with Macha foam, extra sweet with a extra shot. Don't know if this is the norm but, it kind of just tasted like flat Viet coffee with barely any sweetness to it.
I would go again for a drink but not for the food. if the quality of the food was better and the portion was a bit higher. Otherwise the price of each item is unreasonable. There's just better options available for both...

New location opened up in Garland. Note, it doesn't appear on Apple Maps yet, so search Noodle Wave, as the business is right next to it. Or, hop on to Google maps, as Tea Daddy's Garland site is appears there.
Affordability: $5-$6 w/no toppings. I give it a 4.5/5 for price, as their one size looks to be a 24-28oz cup, while most bubble tea shops are 16oz or 20z.
Location: Free parking in the plaza and plenty of space. Hours: 10am - 10pm Seating: Decent amount of seating for a small bubble tea shop. How to Order: Kiosk or at the Front with a live human.
Who is this for? People that need a place to study, quick snack (they have Popcorn Chicken & Fries), quick meet up, or evening Vietnamese coffee/tea fix.
What I ordered so far & plan to order next time...
Ube Egg Coffee: 4.5/5. If you've never had Egg Coffee, highly suggest trying it out. It's Robusta coffee with like a custard cream layered on top. It's a combination of egg yolks, vanilla, sugar & condensed milk. And no it does not taste like you're drinking egg yolks by itself, that would be disgusting, unless you're into that. lol Overall the drink was great with the layer of Ube cream, but I doc'd it half a point due to the sheer amount of ice in it. Nearly 75% of the cup was ice.
Pending... *Oolong Milk Tea, Marble Coffee, Matcha Coffee & latte, Coconut Drink, Popcorn Chicken, Mango Tea
Service: ?? Unknown yet, I ordered at the kiosk & the drink came out...
Read moreCame here for first time. They have drink menu but if you’re not familiar with drinks, they can’t explain what each drink is made of. I asked what a durian crepe was and if it was sweet. Guy said yes, I purchased a pack of 3 for $7.50 and once I tasted it, it was horrible. I kindly explained that I didn’t like it, and if I could please try something else, he said no, we don’t refund or exchange. I wasn’t asking for a refund, just if I could try something else. As a new location, and servicing first time customers I feel they should have more empathy and do a one time exception. They didn’t care. Got the taro milk tea as well wi the boba and the boba keeps sticking and doesn’t come out smoothly from straw plus the tea spills when you drink from it and drink looks weird after. First and LAST time I’m coming here. Please don’t waste your money or time and go...
