showed up to black bolt release on Friday, July 18th at around 10:00 AM, me and my girlfriend went together and were about to get an etb, the worker who i assume based off similiar reviews goes by the name of David, older looking guy, he would not take no as an answer when i kindly told him i did not want to pay $25 for my membership, he told me it was silly i dont want to save money and i told him i am not interested in paying $25 at the moment and no thank you to the offer, this went on and i said no thank you 6 more times before he told me that my girlfriend and i could get the deal as a household as in since we’re together we’d only pay $25, once again I told him no thank you, he then said “well since i would count that deal as a household then i count both of you as a household im only gonna sell 1 item to you” there were other couples in there who were allowed to buy 1 item each but he was only going to let us buy 1 item and i point it out, that he was refusing a sale to us because i don’t want to pay $25 for a membership, he was inconsiderate, sassy, and made us feel uncomfortable, my girlfriend has anxiety and he made a simple purchase a big deal all because he would not take no for an answer he pressured us in a previous encounter a week prior into buying a $25 membership and he would get us ANY pokemon card we’d like since we looked at the glass case with the bulk sitting on top, but he will harass you and come up with excuses to make you make the purchase horrible customer service and should not be...

Just a terrible experience all around. Won’t even get into the fact that 2 workers at the counter but only one actually checking people out when the line was already long. The main issue here is they are selling TCG products well above MSRP (Gamestop is not a LGS, mind you, they get their TCG products straight from distro and only pay the vendor price, meaning anything they charge over MSRP is pure GREED). Item I inquired about is around $30 each, MSRP. This store was charging $45 each. When I pressed the “manager” about selling above MSRP, as a retailer, since they are not an LGS, his only response was “well at least it’s still below market price” which is like saying, “yea we are scalping you but not as bad as other people will.” Other friends have let me know that their gamestops were only charging $35 each on the item, which is much more understandable. 10/10 do not recommend this location. It’s gone down hill since it’s management change in 2024. Can conquer with the other reviews about this location NEVER answering the phone. Don’t even waste time trying to call them, they will not answer your call. Wish I could have left 0 stars, but I guess leaving 1 star will count towards my charity...

my partner and i went today for the release of black and white pokemon tcg. when we got up there to pay(we were both paying separately i just don't like to be alone so i went up there with my partner)the employee asked if my partner would like to upgrade his membership to save $10. my partner said no thank you and the worker(pretty sure his name is david)kept on and kept on asking and insisting my partner upgrades and every time we would say no thank you he would say it was silly. so eventually he said well i can't sell to both of you guys because i consider you guys as one household, mind you there were PLENTY of other people with someone else at one register at the same time so i said you're not going to sell to us because he won't upgrade his membership? he eventually let us buy an etb one for each of us but the situation was very hostile and uncomfortable. probably won't be going back he low-key needs to be fired. last time we went in there he was jumping up and down like 2 year old trying to get us to buy something else and talking in a baby voice. if i could give 0...
