This is like a little cloud, sitting in a cosy area where Divine inspiration touched every artist housed here with incredible doses of talent. Maybe the Muses just poured jugs onto this space so it will always overflow.
Honest, genuinely lovely, kind soft-spoken people make beautiful things for adornment of body and home in this shop. Examples; jewelry, wood work, furniture, stained glass, needlework, weaving, note cards, pottery, paintings in various mediums, it is such a variety and high quality.
I know after an hour I still missed so much. They have an upstairs area for kids during part of the year to see the artists actually work on their crafts!
I cannot wait to launch my YouTube channel so I can put them up and words alone will not be the only sense you have to see this shop.

Read moreI visited Cliff Dwellers while exploring the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Community. They have a nice variety of handmade crafts, pottery, painted gourds, stained glass sun catchers and more. One of the artists, Louise Bales, was at the shop painting gourds and was sweet to talk to and very knowledgeable of the area. I visited in May and during that time they had a small, hands-on glazing workshop upstairs which was fun to attend to learn about glazing pottery.
