I had high hopes for getting a custom 36x24x2 inch cutting board made outside of my home town by this company, but I would not recommend Foxcreek Baskets to anyone. Their customer service is non-existent and they are horrendous at communicating with their customers. I ordered a cutting board from them on November 14, 2024 and was told it would be ready by Christmas. I even texted them prior to me showing up and was told it would be ready. I showed up to picked it up at their shop and it was not finished and it also had flaws. Cassie said she would make a new one and ship it to me right after New Year’s, which I was happy with. On January 9, 2025 I asked for an update and they said it would ship in a week. Over a month went by without hearing from them and they would not answer or return phone calls or text messages. I called every number they have listed on their website, google, and Facebook. I left Cassie and Joe voicemails with no call backs. I eventually got a hold of a lady in Alabama and told her what was going on and she said she would get in touch with them. I didn’t get the replacement board until March and it was damaged during shipping. It was shipped in a box that had been used before with other shipments and the board was only wrapped in two layers of thin wrapping foam then banded around the outside. It also did not come with the board conditioner that Cassie told me in her shop at Christmas that it would come with. I immediately texted pictures of the damage and also tried calling multiple times with no response. I finally got in touch with Cassie and told her I wanted a replacement sent. She said they would try to get it done in two weeks, that was on March 18, 2025. On May 3, 2025 I asked for another update and Cassie said they would have it finished that week. It is June 5, 2025 and I have not heard from them or received my board. I have nearly $640 that I gave them for the board and shipping and I’m very disappointed. Customer service and communication should be everything to a small business. The lack of communication from Foxcreek Baskets is unbelievable. Any other company I have ever had something damaged with went out of their way to communicate and fix the problem, whether it was their fault or something happened during shipping.
