I am so bummed that I am writing this. I like their styles of furniture. They are of good quality. I have bought 2 couches and a bed. I was set to buy a leather chair and another bedroom set with a total amount spent exceeding $8,000. I purchased a service plan when I purchased a couch five years ago. If you don’t file a claim they give you the amount you spent on it back to you after a five year period. I was in shopping for furniture in march and bought a headboard, footboard and dresser. I was going to hold off on purchasing the furniture until May so I could use the cash back. My sales person assured me that I could use it after May. I said that I would not be purchasing again for several months. She said that is no problem. They say you need to use it within 60 days but you are fine to come back after that. They will honor it. I was in to buy another piece of furniture today ($2,000) and explain the situation. They refused to honor it. $248. They said, “A floor salesman said that and they don’t know anything. We can’t honor it.” I was set to spend another $2,500-3,000 in the next month. I can assure you that will not get my business in the future. By their own admission their floors sales people don’t know anything about that being said you can’t trust the salespeople. I spent a lot of money and they are losing a loyal customer over $250. What a shame. I tried the email you provided and received an undeliverable message. You asked that I email a description of my experience. Please see below for my post on Google and Yelp. There is no order number. The phone number is 602-xxx-xxxx. I was shopping for a bedroom set in approximately March-April. I knew my “refund” for the extended warranty was becoming available in May. I let the sales associate know that I wanted to use the refund and may need to wait until May. I was informed that I could not use the refund until May. I let them know that it would be several months before I would make another purchase. The sales associated assured me that I would be able to use it within 60 days. I said that I will not be making a purchase decision until late in the year. I was assured that upon explaining the situation, that the cashier would honor the refund when I decided to purchase. I went to purchase a couch last weekend and brought this up. The associate at the cashier informed me that they would not honor it. I explained that the sales associate assured me that I would be able to use it back in March even though the purchase would be beyond the 60 days. The cashier said, “The sales associates don’t know anything. I am telling you that we will not honor it.” I responded that the sales associate wears a name tag saying Living Spaces thereby representing Living Spaces. She refused. My mom was with me, both at the time I purchased and when I was at the cashier last weekend. My mom reinforced that she heard the sales associate as well. She still said no. Here are the items I was planning to purchase in the next two months: A bedroom set Amal Reclining swivel chair with ottoman Coffee table Items purchased in the past: 2 couches 1 bedroom set My review states that I will no longer be purchasing these items because Living Spaces will not stand by the Sale’s associates commitment to honor the refund. The total of the refund was less than $$250. Living spaces is short sighted given that they stand to make considerably more profit then $250 for my future purchases. Further, your accounting books already took the deduct as a cost of doing business. I have a small amount of credit remaining from a warranty return. I will spend that money because I do not want to give Living Spaces more of my money. I was a loyal customer who referred people. No longer. In fact I will advocate to those that I know to take their business elsewhere because Living Spaces does not stand by their Sale’s associates commitments.

Buyer beware! I bought a desk for over 1 k, and one year later the wood is splintering and ripping my shirts. The other 4 pieces are all white wood that has huge yellow stains coming out all over. It looks awful. See attached pictures. I spent at least 4k on the white wood entertainment center and tv stand. The warranty company (I purchased the furniture protection plan of 5 years) denied the claim saying it was a manufacturing defect and refused to fix or replace or offer a refund or store credit. The furniture repair guy said “I’ve never seen anything like this”. Living spaces customer service also refused to help. See attached pictures for a sample. Do not buy any of their wood furniture! You will be out thousands and left with no recourse! I have tried to be reasonable as I understand manufacturing is done overseas. However living spaces seems to be ok with the customer getting the short end of the stick. So the manufacturer in Vietnam has no consequences, nor does corporate Living Spaces. It’s fraud. Just watch your back. They don’t want to own this problem and are still selling these pieces with full knowledge of its problems.

Well, Living Spaces was the place that I would go to for furniture.. but the terrible quality of the couch we purchased has changed that opinion. We purchased a couch about 2 years ago, and one of the interior side of the bottom cushions had the stitching split. No problem, I have a warranty for instances like this. I file the claim with some pictures.. they send out a technician. The tech walks into my house, looks at the cushion, says "Yep, it's covered, I'll send you a new cover in a couple weeks". Perfect. He was there about 5 minutes tops. 3 weeks go by - I get an email denying my claim for wear and tear. I appeal, sending pictures identifying why I believe the claim is valid (how do you wear and tear the interior stitching of a bottom couch cushion in sub 2 years unless the couch is poor quality?). I get an email the next day rejecting my appeal with this line saying fraying isn't covered, even though the seams are split, not frayed. Needless to say, it's my believe the warranty was useless, the couch is a piece of junk - and I'll never shop here again.

Not happy. I bought a side table to use under our new TV on 11/10. It was in stock and could be delivered 11/12 in time for Thanksgiving. I opted for leave at front door delivery. After we opened the box we noticed it was damaged. I called customer service same day as delivery to let them know. They said they would take off $200 if I would agree to keep it as is or they can send out a tech to fix the issue. No immediate exchange offered, have to go through their warranty process. That’s fine, the tech came out 11/23 and said he couldn’t fix it and recommended a replacement. The replacement arrived today 11/27 damaged in the same exact place! So again I had to call customer service and again they offered $200 if we keep the damaged console. I told them no. Why should we have to fix/ keep damaged furniture. They said they would send out another tech to try to fix it. My husband and I work full-time and these appointments are a huge inconvenience.. Not sure how long this will go on until we get a undamaged or at least fixed piece of furniture. Very disappointed.

A terrible scam of a company. Take your hard earned money elsewhere. Not only is the quality of their products not nearly as good as they claim, they will deny all or nearly all warranty claims. Read the fine print, look at other reviews, and search online at BBB, Reddit, and the like. Our experience, like many others, was that the sales rep will promise up and down that their extended warranty covers everything from wear and tear to intentional damage (like rowdy kids). But when you file a claim, the fine print will exclude nearly everything up to and including accidents. It therefore functionally covers nothing. We had an obvious tear in our couch, after their warranty team ghosted us, I contacted the location where I purchased our furniture. A couple days later we got a prompt denial because it's "normal wear and tear". I know this review will get one of their automated responses for us to reach out to them, but we all know the reply is only to look like they're doing right by customers when in fact, they will do nothing.

Don’t let this place fool you I was looking forward to this place to be great, but wow it was far from it. The experience in the store was great but the product is cheap and the delivery team is terrible and you can’t call the store directly. Nope you have to drive to the store every time you have a problem . I am going to try and make it short and sweet. Ordered the bed that I wanted. It came to delivery day the headboard was cracked the team didn’t know what to do I told them not I won’t take it take it back. The next day they come to give me a new headboard fine, but the team didn’t want to build the bed fyi I payed for it to be built. They gave me a really hard time told me that they can’t and won’t build it . He calls his supervisor and they tell him he has to build it. THESE PICTURES ARE HOW HE BUILDS IT!! I had to drive all the way to living spaces because calling them is hopeless tell them all of what happened and to return my purchase so I can be DONE with this place.
