Customer service was actually horrible. Had no water (which isn’t their fault) but didn’t warn us at ALL before going to the bathroom. Couldn’t flush or wash hands, and the toilets were a MESS. Had no soda, and instead of offering us something else (like bottled water maybe?) instead just gave us an awkward dead eye stare. Asked for a water and she tried the tap again like it would magically start working when we just wanted a bottle or water. After thinking during this minute of awkwardness as obviously nothing came out of the tap, I asked if I could substitute the soda for an Icee because the water was of lesser value than soda in the combo we ordered, and she said yes if we paid more for a different combo. Rubbed me the wrong way because I work in the service industry and would have done anything to make it right for the customer. My elderly mother was dehydrated and her blood sugar was low, and the Icee was too cold for her. Expected better from these employees, but apparently they have been taught that money is more important than the customer. I’m not entitled and don’t expect anything from this, but was seriously annoying and ruined my mother’s experience (could have...
Read moreI am going to start off by saying that we walked into this theater and immediately walked out it was so bad. The maintenance and cleaning was off putting from first stepping foot inside, but we wanted to see a movie so we persisted to the counter. Once there we were yelled at by one of the managers, he rudely told me that he would not let me in with a "backpack" and that he would have to confiscate it until the end of the movie. It was really a small drawstring bag which I tried to explain that I used instead of a purse. And I was willing to show him that all I had inside was my wallet, phone, and glasses (I was not trying to bring in food or anything). Not to mention that several other women were entering with purses three times larger than my bag. He refused and said he would need to hold it at the concession stand until we left, so we just left and went to see the movie somewhere else. I am still horrified by the lack of customer...
Read moreThe theater is lovely and clean. The noise level is not ear-shattering and the popcorn is delicious. The very best thing about this theater though is the manager, Ryan. I was vacationing in Laconia with my daughter and one rainy afternoon we decided to see a movie. I am profoundly deaf without my hearing aids and can only understand so much with them. When the captioning device in our auditorium didn't work, Ryan went out of his way to make things right for us. We ended up coming back to a later show since he moved the film we wanted to see to a different auditorium where the device worked perfectly. He made me feel seen, accommodated and valued as a customer. I have had several bad experiences with movie theater captioning devices and only once did the staff offer to even refund my money. More often I get a "too bad for you"...
