The staff was phenomenal and kind. The building is up to par with aesthetics, and is insanely clean. Hand sanitizer stations are provided in many areas of the building!
However, I have done quite a few escape rooms (triple digits) and I honestly felt like the ‘franchise’ feeling within the games takes away from the rooms. What I mean by this, is that a lot of the same types of solutions and puzzles are repetitive throughout their rooms. There isn’t much original thought, everything feels to have the same concepts which help you excel through the other rooms (after you learn it the first time). It takes away from more challenging puzzles and leaves and chunk of the room to you just repeating things you’ve done in other rooms they have. This was truly disappointing for me.
However, even though things were repetitive, there were things that I have not seen at any other escape room. Which, for me, is a huge win. Well done for thinking outside the box of some parts of the rooms and story lines. I don’t want to put too much to refrain from spoilers, but there is quite a bit of outside the box thinking. Definitely will be back eventually!
Thank you for...
Read moreHonestly, we just got into escape rooms and out of all the ones we did this was the one we left saying “what was that?” We did the New Jersey Devil and it seemed like most of the stuff was broken. We liked the challenge, but some of the stuff left absolutely no hint as to what you were to do next. Even after looking back, we were like how would we have EVER known to do that without a requested hint.
The game master controlled some of the stuff that relieved new clues, but we had placed things correctly and there was a 2 minute delay as if no one was paying attention. And if you have ever done an escape room you know every second counts.
Postgame, the game master didn’t seem to care how we did or not... not that I care that much about the follow up, but every other game master before this place did. Idk makes us feel like it is just a transaction and there isn’t money actually invested in the games to improve them....
Read moreMy wife and I decided to attempt the escape room together. I would recommend having at least 3 or 4 people, but we still had a blast doing it as a couple. The staff is incredibly nice and very accommodating. The young man that was working was so friendly and made the experience even better. Full transparency we were close to solving the puzzle and time was running out…he kept adding a few minutes to our time so we could complete the puzzle. He really didn’t have to do that, but we were one of the last groups and nobody was waiting. We had a blast, can’t say it enough and to have the employee make us feel special and help us was unexpected and greatly appreciated. This place is great for team building, groups, or just to have a good time with friends. I really hope they continue having success and looking forward to trying another room...
