I made the mistake of taking my phone here not just once but twice (both for screen repairs), and both times, they made the problem worse and still charged me. The first time, they were pleasant enough to deal with, so I didn’t want to make a big deal of it and ended up paying someone else to repair their shoddy repair. But the second time, I immediately started having battery issues after my screen repair, and when I came back to address it, the guy I dealt with was rude and condescending, and claimed that I was just trying to get free stuff, then proceeded to make chauvinist remarks to the point that I walked away in shock that this was acceptable behavior for a business. I ended up taking it to masterminds (further west on foothill) to get their “repairs” repaired. I’ve learned my lesson and will drive a bit farther to get the job done right the first time at MM. My iPhone would no longer charge. The battery has been needing excessive charging and I thought the battery was so dead it would no longer charge. I also wondered if maybe the charging socket was defective. I talked to Lucas and told him the situation. He said that charging socket can go bad, he the cleaned it (for free), he used some compressed air to clean out the socket. The phone now charges just fine! As regards the battery Lucas was very knowledgable and informed me that battery use can be consumed by over proccesing of the phones mother board and so it's not always the battery thats the problem. In other words a new battery may still need frequent charging. He pointed out that if the battery needs to be charged several times throughout the day (3x or so) when it previously did not not (and you haven't added a bunch of new apps) then this would be an indicator that the battery needs replacing.
