Kim was absolutely amazing to work with for my husband and I’s first dance! We are not dancers but she is an incredible teacher and holds true to her promise that she “will not let you look bad out there!” We went in thinking we’d like to do something a little more choreographed to make our first dance special and she gave us that and so much more - we had dips, spins, kisses, and even a lift (which I would not have thought was possible going into this experience) and it truly blew our guests away. Our videographer loved it so much she had a cut of our “epic” wedding dance back to us in 48 hours. I would HIGHLY recommend working with Kim on any of your wedding dance needs - we had so much fun at our lessons with her and she will meet you where you’re at and help you not only dance well but build a dance you and your partner love. She’s very open to changing or adjusting things if you decide a certain move isn’t for you or you bring her something you’d like to try! We loved the collaboration. And I also have to mention how much she helped me build something SUPER simple yet polished for my dad and I’s dance - at our last lesson we mapped out a few easy moves I could lead him in because my dad was all over the place haha but her help on that dance too was awesome and we also looked great. One of our favorite wedding vendors and experiences leading up to the wedding, dance lessons with Kim were a fun and stress relieving part of the journey. Would also encourage you to build in time for at least 6 or so lessons to really get time to practice in with her, you won’t regret it!

Kim is absolutely amazing! We started seeing her about two months before the wedding and we were able to pull off an amazing dance routine and impress all of our friends and family. Kim is very reasonably priced and super communicative and flexible with her schedule. She even accommodated 1.5 hour sessions since we were driving from the South Bay and were able to do weekend sessions as well! She was really able to bring out our personalities in the dance routine and make us feel comfortable during our lessons! Neither of us have any dance experience and we’re pretty nervous and Kim held our hand the entire way. She can really break down dance moves we thought we could never pull off and simplify it and we were able to pull off an impressive routine with lifts and dips that neither of us expected. She was also able to help us with the father daughter dance with one session - my dad was super nervous and has zero dance experience and she taught us a simple routine that looked so adorable and was perfect for our father daughter dance. She helped us get comfortable dancing together prior to the wedding and it totally paid off. This was worth all the hours of driving to Glendale (over an hour each way for us), and every penny we spent and every minute we spent working with Kim! None of our guests expected us to have a dance like this and the crowd literally went wild and it is my favorite memory of our wedding!! Highly highly recommend you do this with as much time as you have to practice and do this for your wedding!!!!!

I can’t recommend getting a choreographer for your first dance enough. You get to do dance classes with your soon to be spouse before you get married. It’s such a fun experience and brings you closer. Plus you have this amazing dance to show your family and friends on your wedding day instead of just swaying back and forth. We LOVED working with Kim. She’s a professional dancer and is passionate, not just about teaching, but about you looking amazing during your first dance. She really pays attention to the details and instructs your movements so you look your best. We did 3 sessions with her and felt 100% confident by the final one. You don’t need to be a dancer by any means, she will direct you fully. My husband had no previous experience with dancing. We liked working with her so much that we added on a choreographed dance for the Mother/Son & Father/Daughter dance. We decided to combine them and do a choreographed dance together. It was a fun Sunday getting both of our parents and doing a dance class together. We ended up with two beautiful dances and wonderful memories! Thank you, Kim!
