Genesis Sports Complex — Attraction in Goddard

There is never enough parking - get there early and don't leave! It is turf fields. Lights on all fields. Although there are some big dark spots in the outfield and foul areas. The cement dug outs are great, but do block a majority of the view of play on that side if you're sitting in the bleachers. Most often the score boards do work! Just have to have someone run them. You check out the remote at the concession stand! They are so super kind. They take cash and card. While waiting in between games - there is absolutely no room at all. It's all concrete so on windy days (hello kansas), so theres not much opportunity for pop up tents since they can't nail them down. No shade given aside from the awning. It's not my favorite complex, but serviceable! Positive points... there's a few hotels close, gas stations, Walmart, and coffee places! Plus some fast...

What I hate most about these facilities is we pay a lot in gate fees, we pay a lot to play there and the staff is super rude. I asked for toilet paper because 6 out of the 10 stalls were empty and was told(super snarky and hateful) they were busy and I would have to wait. I told them I was willing to wait and a young red headed girl got hateful with me and slammed a door on me. No one wants to do their job and then get mad when I asked them to do their job! Wanted to set up a membership on the website and noticed that there was a $39 processing fee. Honestly that is just ridiculous, but I understand it is how they gain extra money. I called and spoke to a woman and asked if there was any way to get rid of that fee and set up the membership. She told me that fee was to lock in my membership cost so that it would not raise over time.
