Wayne County Museum — Attraction in Goldsboro

We just finished the Wayne County Geotrail and stopped by to get our coins, today. While we waited, we looked around - there was an event going on upstairs, though. Anyway, got our coins and went back to looking around. A few minutes later, the nice woman came back just to give our kids two small basketballs since they didnt get coins. Here now with Jeff and Jen who know so much about the area. They work at the museum and helped us and explained all the times and local history. Cute items to buy including t shirts, bbq sauce and books. Lots of local history here and fun to see as my grandfather was born and raised here until he was 22! For example, I had no idea that German POWs were held in North Carolina and retained fond memories plus wrote back to friends in NC.
