I am one lucky man to live within walking distance of some of the best beers in the state. GBW's beers are in a class with Highland, NoDa, and Olde Meck, and I'd rank them higher than Legion, Birdsong, or Hopfly. They have four screens of taps--32, I think--the first 12 of which are their own excellent brews: A few staples, a couple of seasonals, some experiments, and an excellent cold-brew coffee used for their porter, and in the espresso martini at Church up and around the corner. The live music is wonderful. There is a great selection of beer and wines for every pallet. They have expanded to include a nice outdoor deck. In the winter, there are large heaters outside to stay warm. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly. This place is dog friendly, too!
