Spoiled Meats with No Retreat!....I ordered the Pollo En Crema De Ajo. I took one bite and noticed the chicken tasted old and spoiled. I requested a different dish, but was told I could not send it back just because it tasted terrible and there had to be something wrong with it to send it back.
Well that's a shame because this seems inconsistent with the other reviews and I was looking forward to a nice relaxing dinner. Instead I received a horrible slice of southern hospitality along with a spoiled slice of chicken.
The one star was not simply for the food (though horrible), but their unwillingness to make it right. For this reason I advise you avoid this place and hit up the local KFC or gas station for a protein shake and bag of chips. It was really that bad and sad.
I try to support local small businesses during my travels, but this experience gives me massive pause for future.
Paid for the full meal, still tipped the server 33%, and left right after sending this post. Maybe they will treat future patrons a little better.
WORST EXPERIENCE IN A LONG TIME.
Maybe you'll have better luck, but I would not risk it. ......... I recieved a response from the restaurant to my review stating I ate most the food and never said anything about the food not tasting right.
Both these statements are false. I had one bite of the chicken one bite of the mashed potatoes. They sent me a photo showing more eaten from the plate than I left.
VERY DISHONEST! SHAME ON YOU! NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY FOR THE TERRIBLE SERVICE. WAY TO DOUBLE DOWN ON A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
I'll be sure to share this experience with as many...
Read moreBrisas has a lot of potential but just stops short of being excellent.
The food was good, the service was good, the atmosphere is nice, though slightly too bright for the dinner service.
I found the menu is a little confusing. While there are a lot of potentially good options, the descriptions were a bit vague. I'm not opposed to spending 25+ on an entrée but a more thourough description would give me more confidence to commit to that price point.
They obviously are concerned about quality ingredients as they feature Cheshire Farms pork products.
One slightly strange thing is that I didn't expect to find sushi at a restaurant that focuses on Latin American cuisine. (Note: Personally, it seems misguided to go in two dramatically different directions.)
We ended up ordering conservatively because we were unsure of what would be reliably good.
I had the Chicken Quesadilla, and my friends ordered the Beef Empanadas and the Garden Salad. Surprisingly, the rice was really bland. Otherwise, all of it was good, but not amazing.
However, I couldn't help but wonder if we had ordered the wrong thing because we noticed other really interesting dishes traveling to other tables. This is also a good time to mention that it took 45+ to get our meals. And the waitress forgot to put in one item we ordered. Since it took so long to get the food we just skipped it...
All in all though, I'll definitely give them another try because the potential is definitely there and I love that they are local and are also supportive of other...

Had lunch with family, fries were super over seasoned and very little portion , the rice with moro was terrible and the cheese steak sandwiches had a sprinkle of cheese and no peppers or onions , and all they gave was half a thimple of catsup? Manager came out and spoke to other dinners to apologize about the rice, gave excuse of a new dominican cook , these issues need to be fixed because we pay good hard money for this food. No excuses , fix the problem.

Sorry buddy but i was at the table opposite of the one you were talking about, we were the party of 5 . We never spoke to each other at the restaurant, im used to better food at your restaurant, i will be in again , today could have been an off day all restaurants have them , speak to your new cook and make sure the food is cooked properly, portions are adequate, and the condiments are provided with the meal . My meal was good only the fries were over seasoned, and the portion of fries was not what im used to , and a teaspoon of catchup is not going make it for me. If you cut your food portions then i assume you will lower your prices or you will lose customers ... See you again soon .
