I purchased a roughneck Deringer I change the handle three times for a bigger handle cause a smaller handle makes the gun bite you real hard. Then I change the barrel from a 45 auto which had ridiculous recoil to a 9 mm which still had ridiculous recoil. The gun is incredibly ineffective for anything over 10 feet it's hard to get the second round off , The trigger pull is EXTREMELY hard everything's difficult about this thing. I really like my Roughneck. The only problem is I’m 63 and pretty good shape but if I ain’t careful and really put a grip on that sucker it’ll try to jump out of my hand. So I’m gonna be going through Granbury in a couple of weeks and I’m gonna turn this 45/410 into a 10mm if possible which I think it’ll work. Then I’ll have me a workable gun. They are a very well built gun I’ve scrutinized the heck out of it and really can’t find anything in the internal workings and workmanship of the gun that will prevent me from owning a few more if I like the 10mm.
