Renee at Miyako is simply exceptional! From the moment I stepped in, her warm hospitality made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. The Spicy Tuna roll was a delight, with its perfect blend of flavors and a satisfying kick of spice. The Sunfire roll was a true showstopper, beautifully presented and bursting with freshness. But the real standout was the spicy scallops, a heavenly combination of succulent seafood and just the right amount of heat.

Renee's attention to detail and dedication to her craft shone through in every dish. Each bite was a delicious adventure, and I couldn't help but marvel at the artistry she put into her creations. The ambiance of the restaurant also added to the overall experience, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

Moreover, the entire staff at Miyako were attentive and friendly, making sure that every aspect of the meal was perfect. I left the restaurant feeling content, satisfied, and eager to return for more culinary delights.

In conclusion, Renee at Miyako is a true gem in the world of Japanese sushi. Her culinary skills, combined with the warm and welcoming environment, create an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend Miyako to anyone seeking an exceptional...

We stopped here for lunch after church and were disappointed overall. I ordered the teriyaki steak dinner, and my son had a single sushi roll and Japanese soup. The sushi was $17, and the soup—basically canned chicken broth with a single mushroom—was $4, which felt excessive. My meal came to nearly $19 and sadly didn’t live up to the price.

The steak was tender but lacked flavor, and everything tasted pretty bland, even when I tried mixing items together. The presentation and taste just weren’t memorable. My son's sushi looked unevenly cut, with thin, inconsistent slices, and the sauce looked like melted crayons. He said it was just “okay.”

We also found it not very gluten-free friendly. They wouldn’t modify the fried rice to be made without soy sauce - sounded like they have it premade in batches. [They did tell me that the only option would be white steamed rice and no sauce on anything. So if you want absolutely tasteless food there’s the gluten-free option. Lol]

Overall, this place feels overpriced for the quality and portions. We likely...

I have never written a review before about any place so that’s how you know my experience was not pleasant. The service was great, our server was always refilling our drinks and we got our food pretty quickly. The food was definitely not worth $100 check for only two people. They are extremely over priced and the food was nothing special. Mine & my fiancés complaint is what happened after. Immediately after finishing eating and walking out the door I had the worst heart burn of my life, like so bad i barely could breathe normal. I didn’t think much of it until we got home and my fiancé started to have really bad stomach pains and then he was on the toilet. He had stomach pains all night, then I started to feel my stomach get extremely tight and bloated, which I only had one roll & a small bowl of white rice. So i didn’t even leave the restaurant feeling full. Well now I am in a fetal position with the worst stomach pains ever and I look 8 months pregnant from how bad the bloating is. The service was good, but thanks to this place I’ll never eat...

Almost everyone has been to a Hibachi restaurant, the chefs do fun tricks like tossing rice in your mouth, egg in the hat, train/volcano etc. We brought our 7 year old for a fun dinner night and unfortunately our hibachi chef did nothing fun or cool. Heck he didn’t even clean the grill off when he was done cooking the food. I can easily say this place is the bottom of the barrel for the hibachi experience. 2 adults one child $80 plus tip(1 soda, kids tea and water). Also this place doesn’t have yum yum sauce which is disappointing when the teriyaki is so runny it doesn’t even stick to the chicken. All in all the food was bland, the host/waitress was alright and the chef didn’t want to be there. We won’t be back.
