Randy’s Shrimp and Oyster Bar — Restaurant in Granbury

Friday night 7:30pm, the place had several empty tables in front room and at least one booth in corner of bar. Lots of seats at bar, but we (2 people) wanted a table or booth. Said it would be about a five minute wait. After 6 groups of people left and their tables had been cleaned and we were waiting now at least twenty minutes, I went and asked what the hold up was to seat us. At this point there were 9 empty tables in the place. I was told they were waiting for a table in corner to leave. They were not busy and to have us wait for an occupied table instead of giving us one of the nine empty tables is bad bad service! And the two waitress were just hanging out at the bar. I really wanted to give this place a chance, but it was very obvious they were interested. ...

After labs and doctor visit in Granbury, my husband and I stumbled upon this place. From the moment you arrive to when you leave, the people are so friendly and take good care of you.

They open at 2:00 pm for lunch and have a lunch menu.

I got the shrimp and grits - it was a little different from what I’m used to but so good. The shrimp were jumbo and amazing!

However, I switched lunches with my husband because I have med induced diabetes and the sauce they used was pretty sweet. I was told that you can get that on the side. It was spicy too! But very good.

I ate some fried fish with étouffée on top of dirty rice - so good!

It’s pricy. But well worth it if you want a good seafood place. I can’t wait to go back and try more things.

Yall! This was some of the best food that I have had here in Granbury! Perfect amount of spice, great flavor, and a the portion size is huge! I had the Red Snapper and my husband got the Peppered Shrimp K-Bob! The pic has the red snapper along with a few of my husbands shrimp! Service was great and the staff worked together as a team to ensure we had a great experience. I also spoke to the owner briefly to get a better understanding on the oyster situation. They were out of the Gulf Oysters but had some other kind. Blue point was the name maybe?? I’m no expert on seafood, but this was a 10 out of 10 experience for me. We had a 30 minute wait time and I’m so glad we stuck around! We will definitely be going...
