Donut Palace — Restaurant in Texas

Unfortunately, I'll have to agree with the other review that they seem annoyed by their customers. The previous Asian owners were always so grateful for our business no matter how big or small the order they'd greet us with a great big warm smile. They were so nice and pleasant. New owners not so much but we'd overlook it bc they were a bit closer and interactions were not so much rude just stoic and no smile. The younger girl was ok but it was the older woman. But today was the last straw. 6-19-25 6am My husband returned home vowing never to go back there again. He said he used the drive thru this morning, absolutely no one behind him yet the woman with the very short hair was curt, rushed him, like she was annoyed and like she just wanted him gone. With so much competition a smile goes a long way. Whatever happened to the basics of customer service. Customers especially repeat customers is what helps a business thrive. In fact, even if you don't want to smile at least don't treat your paying customers like they're an irritant. Will try others with great reviews like Sunny's Donuts by Pam's, The Donut Hole on Pearl St, or Donuts...

2 stars for failure to correct a mistake on their end. I’m a mom i wanted to get my kids a small treat before school, so I went to get some donuts. When I got there, I told the lady I would like a dozen donuts, half glazed and half chocolate four kolaches small and one jalapeño Kolache and one filled donut. I expected the order to be maybe 25 -30 dollars at most, so I grabbed 40 from my wallet before leaving my purse at home. When she rang it all up it was 38 dollars. And I was kind of shocked 😳 so I said keep the Chang and headed home, while on my way home I realized what had happened I opened the box and seen I was given 2 dozen donuts, my mistake was thinking I was given the 6 count boxes, so I called I told the young lady she must have mis heard me and I wasn’t expecting to pay that much and I have no use for so many donuts, all she said was oh I’m really sorry. That’s it. Your sorry? Um ok, that doesn’t make it’s ok, ibwon’t be going there again. I suggest you double check your order before leaving don’t go into shock when faced with an outrageous...

This is the best donut shop in Granbury! Every Monday and random days throughout the week we always go to the Donut Palace. They have our order down to the letters. One random day instead of RaceTrac we came here because RaceTrac donuts were cold, and it changed everything!
