Goodwill - Retail Store — Attraction in Grand Island

My goodness! I have never been impressed with the staff here until I stopped in today! I can't remember her name, but one kind lady was helpful in getting me a dressing room (efficient too 😉). She had a wrist brace on if that helps. Then Samuel was my cashier and let me tell you, HE WAS SO KIND! I usually get the vibe that the people who work there hate their job by this young man asking me about my day and was very gracious and kind. To whom it concerns, GIVE THAT KID A RAISE!! ☺️😅. On April 15, 2025, I made a very large donation to the new location of Goodwill on Diers Avenue. 15-30 gallon bags of items(blankets, sheets, comforters,clothing, etc), boxes of books, CDs, figures, and more. The staff person at the donation drive-through was very courteous and didn’t hesitate to help me unload. He was very helpful. I dropped off several boxes of Christmas decorations on New Years Day. I told the worker what was in the boxes. Obviously the staff member (may have been Hispanic?) didn’t care & threw the boxes into hampers. These were very nice ornaments & decorations for Christmas along with unused Pre-lit Christmas trees.
