First and last time buying from this place.
I came in looking to pick out my own flowers to make an arrangement for my wife. I was told by the lady up front to go into their cooler and pick out my flowers. When I asked about their pricing she gave me a frustrated look and said, "You can just ask me." That all sounds good but logistically that means for every flower I'm interested in I'll have to take the flower out of the cooler and ask this lady about the price. Whatever, I'll just pick out my flowers and discover the price when I'm done I guess.
After selecting my flowers one of the other girls wrote down what I had on a note, gave it to the lady up front and took my flowers into another room to wrap them.
The woman up front was taking a phone order at the time and I was stunned by how frustrated she was with whomever she was talking to.
When she got off the phone she started trying to ring up my order but she couldn't read the writing on the note so she started asking the other girls to clarify the note, all the time being very outwardly frustrated with her co-workers.
After the other girls helped her figure out what she was doing she asked for my phone number. I politely told her I didn't want to be entered into their system. She then said "We HAVE to have a phone number in order to get a better rate. " I told her I wasn't giving her my personal phone number for their marketing purposes and she again told me that she HAD to have my phone number for the transaction. I again told her I wasn't giving her my number. She literally huffed at me, shook her head at me and gave me my receipt to sign without even telling me what my total was or giving me a pen to sign it.
This lady was frustrated with me, frustrated with her co-workers and frustrated with the person on the phone. I found all of the other coworkers to be nothing but delightful people.    Read moreI just want to take a moment to extend the most heartfelt review possible. I live in California and my Mother lives in Colorado. There is no family relatively close to my Mom and only 2 days after her birthday was the 1 year anniversary of my younger sisters tragic death. It's hard being so far away so I turned to the sentiment of sending my Mom flowers as my way of being there in spirit to show her comfort. I ordered online and the entire experience was a complete disaster. I will spare the details but know it was a mockery of the flower industry and left me feeling completely distraught. I really didn't know what to do so I called Countryside Elegance and to say they saved the day is an understatement. Countryside Elegance, in particular Candy, provided superb service with top-notch quality that can't be matched. This will be my go-to florist for all occasions for years to come. I give my 100% recommendation and this florist is a must try. You won't regret it. Thank you Countryside Elegance for what you do. I must mention that I originally went to a florist out there and they did a terrible horrible job knowing that this arrangement of flowers was for my mom birthday and a year since my little sister tragic death.    Read moreEDIT: I am updating my review from a 2* to a 3, I would go 3.5 of it was allowed. They reached out to me and provided a follow up, apologized and offered to make it right for us. Great customer service response on this. We are happy with the solution. Thank for having a good response and willingness to learn and grow for future prevention of something like this. Bought wedding flowers for our daughters wedding. Picked them up the morning of the event. The flowers looked wilted and like they've been sitting in the fridge for a few days. Also once we got over to the event which was about 15 minutes away to set up noticed that the arch flowers didn't have the center piece that was ordered. It was too late to run back to get it. Figured with the price we paid the flowers would have been better quality, fresher and but wilted. Very disappointed with what we got for what we paid for. You can see how old the flowers look in...
