Batteries Plus — Local services in Grand Junction

This is already my go-to store for weird size bulbs and batteries, but today, they just went over the top. Four months ago, we bought a car battery for our truck (which was, by the way, significantly cheaper than other places). We hadn't used the truck in a couple weeks. This morning, dead battery. We jumped the truck and took it in to see about the battery warranty. The store tested our battery - discharged, but good, checked all our connections, and determined that that was where the problem lay. They cleaned our connections; GAVE US A LOANER BATTERY FOR THE DAY so that we could still do the things we needed to do with our truck today; and took our battery in to charge it up for us overnight. Tomorrow, we will go back and exchange the loaner battery for ours, and they will install it for us. All of this is at no charge. I ordered 2 $350.00 marine batteries online because I wanted the online discount and free shipping if delivered to the store. The batteries would not work for what I needed them for. I called the store and they told me to bring them back no problem. But, when I got there the clerk told me that when I had called the day before the manager thought I was someone else that had ordered online also (first lie) Then told me the that they would not allow me to return them. He said you can't return a "special order" and that this was a "special order"(second lie). I didn't get that because all I did was place an order online. They didn't even offer to swap them out for what I did need. So I sat in my car called the 800 number for the online website. They called the store. I got my refund finally. What a Joke. I was a very good customer in the PAST. I didn't want to give them any stars but I had to choose one to...

( review update 10.10.25 called customer care after respond and they said they will let store know what they can do and nobody didn’t even respond and called back after that definitely worst experience i had!)

I left my phone for battery replacement (iPhone 12 pro) and after they change the battery I noticed that the new battery was no different from my old battery and even consumed more battery. I asked for a refund. They returned it to me, okay nice but they said that they replaced the original screen during the battery replacement. It turns out they replaced the original with an aftermarket screen. Now my screen has pixel damages around screen because of They put after market screen and battery is draining faster than the old original battery. if you had to change my screen you would have to change exact same screen not after market one. so disappointing and not recommend for battery...
