I originally gave this place five stars only because they asked us to just so we could get a free pillow. Which by the way is useless. Anyways I’m changing my review from 5 stars to 1. The people that work there are nice but the customer service is crap. We ordered a large entertainment center and when it was delivered the poor guy was by himself struggling horribly. I had to help him build it and move it, while being pregnant, which I never should have had to do had he not be sent alone. He also did not speak any English whatsoever. We called the store to ask them if they could get someone to translate because we do not speak Spanish and received no help. Just told “sorry we’re not his boss so we can’t talk to him”. On top of all that we were sent damaged pieces. There were several scratches on the wood which were just covered with a marker to hide the scratches. It was not the delivery guys fault and he was so sweet, it’s just the whole situation was a nightmare. I will never buy from them again and would tell anyone who even thinks about buying from there to walk the other way!

Ada was the one my mom called as everything was happening while the delivery guy was here and she refused to talk to my mom. Then y’all want to call several days later because now you don’t like the review. And the only reason you called was to find out what happened when you already knew so you could file a complaint with the delivery people. Not to try to resolve the issue. So not only do y’all have crappy service but y’all lie about customers and the way y’all treat them on top of it? Way to handle business guys. Sorry but if you don’t want to talk to someone when the incident is happening why should anyone give you the time of day later just because you don’t like the review. You are just as bad as the delivery people because ADA refused to handle it correctly the day it was all happening. Sorry I’m not going to argue with y’all and the fact that you want to now say lies on top of your crappy service, I would give y’all negative 5 stars if I could and tell everyone to run not walk the other way. Read moreI was so disappointed with the store manager of CB Furniture store in Grand Prairie, Texas. I ordered a dinette set October 18, 2018 and was promised it’s delivery on November 3, 2018 and it was in stock and checked before ordering was initiated. I wanted the dinette set in time for Thanksgiving, of which the young ladies promised. Nov 3, had come and gone. I got no calls or follow-up on issues until I called. I was placed on hold and forgotten. I called back and was told that it would be delivered on Friday. Friday had come and gone with no calls or follow up. I went to the store to check on it and the store manager told me that it would not be delivered until the end of November, after Thanksgiving. I was crushed. I requested a refund the following week; after hoping it would come. The store manager of CB told me I could not get a refund only a store credit. I asked to speak with the store owner about my issue and that this was not what I requested; and, that the owner needs to be aware of what I am expericing. I was told by the store manager that the owner was not available to speak with me and that he doesn’t speak with customers. I went back and forth with this store manager and demanded to talk to the owner because I don’t want a store credit; I wanted the dinette set. The store manager asked me to wait until Friday, November 16th, to see if the table arrives; and if not I would get refunded $431 cash I paid up front for the set...no dinette set. While collecting my refund from CB, I saw the exact table style I ordered in October, but in a brown color, on the sales floor.
All in all, the store manager had no regards for what is right and she refused my request to speak with the owner. But, I would recommend CB Furniture because of the furniture; not the store manager. (Melissa, an employee at CB Furniture was a very wonderful sales person and helped me professionally.) Moreover, I would have gone with the brown set, that was now on the sales floor, if I was approached correctly by the store manager, contacted about any issues with delivery and color, etc.; but this opportunity was not afforded or offered to me; not even upon my arrival to collect my refund from the store manager. Now, Thanksgiving is upon me and I could not find the right dinette set I wanted for this day. Dinner on the couch will have to suffice...I have to cook and work all week. Happy...
Read moreI came to CB Furniture after going to Town and Country furniture across the street. The salesman at Town and Country seemed as if he didn't care whether or not we purchased anything, yet the folks at CB were extremely helpful. I needed 2 dining chairs and they were kind enough to allow me to purchase the dining chairs separately without having to buy an entire dining set. The salesman at the other store informed me they didn't allow separate piece purchases, although I called earlier in the day and was told that they do sell dining chairs separately. At T&C, I was pointed toward a clearance section of ragedy mix and match chairs, and some even had stains. It was ridiculous. The quality of the furniture at CB was 1000 times better than the stuff at the other place, and I wound up paying less for each piece. CB's prices were cheaper than the other junk yard's so called clearance prices. They even allowed me to take home the display chairs and carried them to my car with no hesitstion and offered to wrap them.
