ALDI — Attraction in Grand Rapids

I just witnessed a poor woman get attacked task verbally emotionally and cold emotionally and culturally at This store tonight. This woman appeared to be Hispanic and the checkout woman was blind and appeared to be possibly scandinavian. The checkout person was making fun of this poor lady and refused to let her pay without an argument. The checkout lady was rolling her eyes in her neck and making fun of her. It seemed like the old lady just wanted to check out and kept asking her to stop making fun of her and to stop arguing with her and to please let her pay for her groceries more than once. Is embarrassed for her. Ending that I am native of American it made me feel disgusted inside too many times people get treated this way because of other people's insecurities or racism. If you're looking for the best grocery prices, go to Aldo's. Handicapped parking and wide aisles. Bathroom also handicapped accessible. Aldis offers a wide assortment of food including, fresh veggies and fruits, fresh meats, dairy, canned goods, candy and chips/crackers/trail mixes, good coffee, frozen foods and an aisle of home products. You must bring your own bags and you must bag your own groceries and push them to your car. They do sell bags. Also, have a quarter handy to get a cart out of the cart coral. This is a nice, large well organized Aldi. Aldi always has great prices as well as organic, gluten free, and low processed-healthy foods. There was a great find of French fries without soy oil in them! This is a great place to shop if you have food allergies. The only downside at this location is they did not have pepperoni at the time we stopped by, and this is typically a staple we get at our local Aldi. Also be aware that they have specialty items that will change and you may not be able to purchase again, so stock up if it's...
