Love love love this mall! If you are from outta town or state, I recommend. They have a food court with many options. Their play area for the kids is amazing, and kids love it! They have toddler rides/games in the food court only costing $1-$2. The rides have games, which my 4 yr old loved! Actually, that was his favorite part about the whole mall. Also, they have carts for toddlers, a bit on the pricey side $6 but no time limit. They have options for 1 kid cart or 2 kid cart.
Bathrooms are very nice. The family bathrooms are big and always nice and clean. Family bathrooms include a small toilet for kids, a big toilet for adults, and a changing area for babies. To top it all off, tons of privacy.
Big elevator, a few escavators, one qt each side of the mall, or stairs to go down or up stairs. If you need to rest, there are tons of spots all over the mall up and down to sit down, including the food court. The food court is always clean and full of booths and tables. Always an open table.
Overall, this mall is a great place to bring your children with or to take the whole fam. Plan a day with your children or family, and I promise you it will be a great time! Parking is free and always an open spot, and for the most part, you can always find a close parking spot that doesn't involve a lot of walking. There are maps all over the mall to help you navigate your way through.
Lastly, they are always cleaning. They clean the children's area and children's rides constantly. Every time I am there, they shut down the kids' area to clean and disinfect. It doesn't take long, I've always sat and waited.
Thank you for a great experience and thank you for keeping the shopping experience for customers enjoyable for the...

Read moreUsed to be a really beautiful, efficient and all around fun mall. The mall was an all-day trip pretty much. Unfortunately, nowadays it feels rather... dead. A lot has been stripped of the design. Rivertown used to have a beautiful blue accent littered all over the mall (along with some golds and browns) and it really worked. There was also quite a bit of greenery in there, a decent amount of trees or plants would be spread around. It really made the place feel lively. Now, it's almost COMPLETELY devoid of color or any design. No plants either, not to mention a ton of the murals have been straight up removed.
Design isn't everything though. There's a good amount of stores at Rivertown. Barnes N Nobles has been there for a long time and is a decent size with a fair selection. Native Feather Arts and Sleeping Tiger are also well put together. F.Y.E, Macys, Sunglass Hut, Hot Topic, etc... it seems pretty okay if you don't know how many more stores used to be there. The food options are also... bad. It's obvious the pandemic did quite a number on this place but I wouldn't reccomend Rivertown Crossings if you wanna go shopping and take a break for lunch because your options are INSANELY limited. A lot of stores have also been replaced by sitting areas. Which is unbelievable considering how many sitting areas the mall already has, PLUS benches and the ENORMOUS food court.
I don't know. Rivertown is extremely underwhelming these days in my opinion. It's efficient if you need to stop by quickly to pick something up from a specific store, but beyond that, there's not much to...
