Updated Review: I visited the Admiral's Club in Dallas, located near Gate 19. Even though it was busy, there were plenty of seats available throughout the different areas. They offered a buffet with lunch items like Argentinean beef empanadas, minestrone soup with crackers, and hummus with pita bread and veggies, among other options. This time, I’d like to give a shout-out to a very nice, friendly, and attentive attendant named Reda. He was doing an amazing job, constantly making sure the tables near the bar and the buffet stayed clean, and he was kind enough to bring me a soda. I really want to recognize his attentive and pleasant attitude toward the Club’s guests. It’s refreshing to encounter kind people like that when I travel.

(Previous Review) The experience at the Admirals Club in Dallas Texas Airport was a very pleasant one. Even though it started with the elevators being out of service when I got there. I had to carry my very heavy luggage up about 30 steps to get to the Admirals Club. Once I got there I got to relax. They offer complementary WiFI and a snack box. I also got some cranberry juice at the bar area and later they offered me breakfast. Because of the pandemic they don't have a buffet any more. They have an area where someone will serve the food in little cups. They had oatmeal, and scrambled eggs with turkey sausage. The staff was very friendly and they had a person cleaning and seating people in the different areas to make sure they were keeping social distance. Compared to the one in LAX, which I also visited today, this Admirals Club has definitely provided a much better experience. By the way by the time I was leaving to catch my plane the elevators were fixed already....

I think I’ve figured Dallas Admiral’s Club out. I came through here last week and couldn’t eat their breakfast because all they offer is bbq brisket that tastes like it was boiled and dipped in a horror of a sauce…oh and was probably cooked a month ago and defrosted right before they put it out. I’m back a full 8 days later on my way home from my trip and guess what? It’s the same disgusting bbq…from the looks of it, the SAME same bbq that was sitting here over a week ago. What I figured out as I watch person after person lift the lid…make an awful face and close it without taking any is this… That’s the plan…serve something so unbelievably bad that no one eats it…so they keep their food costs to an almost non existent minimum. Some would say…don’t they have other options? Yes…in fact they do… scrambled eggs with sweet potatoes mixed into them for some reason…along with enough hot spices to burn your taste buds completely off. How about some toast? Well if you’re a fan of marbled rye bread you are in luck! It’s stale…but it’s here! White? Wheat? ANY OTHER? Nope. Sorry…this is rye country only. They do have plain bagels. Which is what 90 percent of people have opted for. Again…keeping their food costs to plain bagel territory. You know…we pay to use the admirals club…not sure where they are spending the money…but it’s not on taking care of...

This Alaska trip was my 1st experience with the admirals clubs & it had its ups and its huge let downs. For the most part the club is well put together with lovely pieces of art and some delicious foods to snack on and comfy areas to relax while you wait. I had 3 connecting cities and almost 60hrs in commute between my travel to and from my destinations Florida to Alaska for my Solo travel.

I enjoyed the areas but I did not enjoy the attitudes of some of the staff especially in regards to handling my disabilities needs. Chicago was the worst- Dallas club staff accidentally used both passes first trip up so when I flew home they said I had none. They basically accused me of giving the 2nd pass to someone to use with me in Dallas. I said handicap porter brought me from the flight in Dallas to lounge everyone in lounge has pass and im traveling solo who would i give it too im happily married. They just kept saying people do it, people do and I'm like well I'm not one of them. It was insulting. Took forever to get fixed and said id have to go through same thing in connecting city with supervisor instead of noting and fixing it. Someone made an error but i was treated like I was trying to pull a fast one. Someone made a simply error and cost me a...
