Charming and nicely designed botanical garden that feels like a secret neighborhood oasis. I truly truly love gardens, as Jackie said, oh what a feeling To Be Loved, and one of my favorites is in Dallas, but for my first time in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, I said, I have to go visit Grapevine's garden. So in Doin It, I treated myself to a lovely afternoon. What brought me there, you asked? You, the voice of reason. Then I had to ask myself, How Do You Want this free time spent? The answer, the Un-thinkable. On a quick Trip and on a really tight schedule, ARIse, the opportunity came and the Pressure was on to make the visit. Upon entry, I looked over to the left and I loved the lush greenery of this place in comparison to the more arid Texas surroundings. Soon after settling in, I was met by a fascinatingly big flying grasshopper, it kinda Freeked me out, I'll admit, I quietly screamed, but I said to myself, Sabrina "Bernadette" Sham-rock, you can handle this. (Ha! I didn't know grasshopper's could fly.) But this garden is full of wonderful sensory experiences with the full sounds of nature and water features all around. I am particularly fond of undisturbed natural elements in parks. This garden has a historical tree said to have existed during the signing of the Constitution and the Morehead Branch stream. Most of the park is split by the presence of this stream that runs right through this land. Although there is a drought, I hope this important water source soon fully flows once again. As I explored more, I noticed plenty of seating arrangements for semi-quiet enjoyment for admiration and peacefulness. For sun bathers, there are various open lawn areas for sun soaking needs. I personally appreciated the ample plant shadings to better enjoy the ambiance as I'm mindful of my sun exposure these days. (Purely by an, Oops, accident, I'm more buttery brown, in various shades from head to toes, thanks to FL's sun. I know there is a fragrance called Nomade Ombre but I AM the Nomade Ombre, lol!.) Thank you beautiful garden for sharing your world, our meaningful private talks, and our...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Grapevine Botanical Garden, and I must say it was an enchanting experience for the whole family.
The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the incredible array of flowers. The garden was a riot of colors with vibrant blooms at every turn. From the elegant roses to exotic orchids, there was something to delight every flower enthusiast. The meticulous care and attention to detail in maintaining these floral wonders were evident throughout.
What made this visit even more enjoyable was the family-friendly atmosphere. My kids had an absolute blast exploring the garden. There were interactive displays and activities designed to engage young minds and teach them about the wonders of nature. It was both fun and educational, making it a perfect outing for families.
One of the unexpected delights of our visit was the live shows. The garden hosted captivating live performances that added an extra layer of charm to our day. Whether it was a musical performance amidst the flowers or a fascinating talk by a botanist, these shows made our visit truly memorable.
The accessibility and amenities were also noteworthy. The garden was easy to navigate, with well-maintained paths and plenty of benches to take a break and soak in the beauty. Restrooms and picnic areas were conveniently located, making it a comfortable and enjoyable outing.

Read moreMy buddy has a birthday party for his 2y son at the Grapevine Botannicle Gardens which was inside the Club House.
It's a lovely place during the Summer so I can't imagine how incredible it would be during Autumn.
They have a nature trail in the garden area that isn't very big or long but it's still very pretty and peaceful.
The atmosphere was incredible.
Inside the club house its set up like a reception area, a large room with tables and chairs with a kitchen in back. I imagine you can arrange it however you like for ur guests.
Both doors that lead to the patio deck open so you can let in that Summer or Fall breeze. The patio is wooden and large enough for +10 guests.
A couple smaller tables are situated on the edge of the patio similar to bistro style.
The patio overlooks the garden, and as you step down you'll approach an old Bridge which runs over a steam. Inside that stream they have gold and coy fish. It's beautiful.
Although the garden isn't massive, for me it made it even more intimate and peaceful.
Toward the back of the garden there's a green house and another patio deck for sitting and observing nature.
If you look toward the back fence you'll find a sanctuary for Bees. Pretty cool.
A great place to hold events or even just for a quick walk to clear ur mind.
Definitely make to time to go if u can....
