I've shopped at this store many times and they have some cool items and some decent prices. Most of their staff are very kind and helpful.
However, today I had a horrible experience with a cashier named Tim B. He was incredibly rude to my girlfriend and dismissed her request regarding a delivery of a item, even though the request had already been granted by a different employee earlier. I noticed the conversation and walked over and had to push Tim to explain why the request could no longer be fulfilled when it had already been approved.
Tim gave some BS explanation about requiring a large trailer and how he didn't know how someone would lift the large object off of the truck during the delivery. He obviously just didn't know what he was talking about and wanted to get us out of his checkout line.
Eventually, we finally got him to check with his superior, a nice young man, who immediately corrected him and confirmed that the request was valid and already approved. The superior confirmed that none of the logistical challenges that Tim made up during his BS explanation were actually a problem at all.
Tim sulked back over to his cash register and very rudely just said the words "yes your request has been appproved". Tim did not apologize for making it so difficult for us to simply buy a product and have it delivered, nor did he even acknowledge the fact that he was 100% incorrect on multiple different topics during his BS explanation.
Tim should probably just be fired, he even said "I'm not trying to get fired but honestly that would do me a favor, I'd get to go home and do stuff I wanna do and not be at work". He has no place working a customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review is for tractor supply contracted Petvet because I can't find another place to review them. And shame on tractor supply for having them. We've used the mobile vet at VIP and it is way better. Do not use PetVet! First of all, they are more expensive than our regular vet. We needed convenience but it ended up costing way more! Second, they clearly had no idea what they were doing. One worker kept going back and fourth asking questions about medication etc. The girl selling us a shot package told us the booster was included. It was not! When we told them that we had asked twice and had been told it was, they got mad at us. They clearly had been upselling hoping people would forget then reminded us that we signed the digital pad that said it wasn't included. We trusted the worker was being honest. They clearly have been telling peoplenthebwrong information on purpose. Finally, they were closed for 3 weeks in a row. We missed the booster of our dog by 3 days. The vet was very rude and told us there was one weekend we could have come. We told the vet we had been sick with the stomach flu. She told us we had to start all over. More $$$. We will get the shot at our regular vet. It's not a "necessary vax" so 4 days outside of the window isn't going to negate its effects as a booster and since it's not a required vaccine we don't need the official paperwork. Finally the icing on the cake was our dog. He did not like the vet. We have never seen him so nervous before. We didn't want her touching him and clearly he didn't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad a great experience at Tractor Supply Co! First time in as I was apprehensive about a new store coming into Grass Valley. Pleasantly surprised to find a great selection of items including some things I didn't even know I was looking for. Got a nice work shirt for $14 which really set the bar. Wasn't able to find the carport I wanted although they did have some lighter weight units in stock that would have worked. Seemed to have a very extensive selection of pet stuff though I didn't venture into that virtual HALF of the store. I wasn't looking for pet products. Ample parking (also noticed wheelchair access) made in and out a snap. Will...
