Every time my wife and I shop at Tunies, it's more than just her loving a bunch of clothing items. Everybody in the shop clearly loves everything about the business and brand. They gush over new arrivals, I watch as they provide genuine feedback to clients on what's flattering and what may not be quite right. Talking with them about their website and social media, I marvel at their engagement level. This is a two-location small business in Louisville that's doing everything right and is likely on the cusp of franchising (if they want). Despite not being really their target client, I enjoy holding my wife's purse while she finds new treasures. The managers engage with me as though I was their ideal client just as much as her. They could teach a masterclass in how to run a clothing store. The engagement takes people far beyond the physical pieces. ...
Read moreI used to enjoy shopping at Tunie's. They had such cute things and the staff was friendly and helpful. Today when I visited, the lady behind the register greeted me, but did not ask if I needed help finding anything. I looked at several items, and again, no one offered to help. As I was leaving the store I came across the sale/outlet section and perused some of the jewelry. Just as I turned around to leave, one of the clerks walked past me and said not a word.    Read moreI love look at and make jewelry and figured Iâd stop by this place to see what they have. The place smelled like moldy clothes. The woman at the counter did not greet me due to my appearance, as she pleasantly greeted the two women who entered after me who were dressed fancier and were more her type of client I guess. I donât like supporting places that judge people instead of being open to clients. I wasnât impressed with their overpriced jewelry but if the person running the store had been nicer I wouldâve been more interested in their second hand looking shoes and clothes. Not impressed. Would...
