Don’t waste your time servicing your vehicle here, they will break your car parts, lie to you and weasel you out of more money. My family had been buying and taking all of our vehicles to Broadway for many years, but things are certainly not the same as they used to be. The past two times I have taken my vehicle here for an oil change, I have had horrible service. This past week, I had my car in for an oil change and they told me I had swollen lug nuts and needed 20 new ones because the ones I had on there would not go back on nor would I be able to get them off with a normal sized tool. The service lady showed me my lug nut and it was basically melted metal. They ruined ALL of my lug nuts. You would think after they ruined one and realized it was “swollen” they would come talk to you before ruining them all?! We asked why the lug nuts were swollen and looked like that and the mechanic said he “personally has never seen it but it has been happening here more frequently and it can happen with winter weather.” Being a young female, I called my parents in for backup. Before my parents even arrived, my car was pulled around and parked out front... with lug nuts on. When my parents arrived, the service lady told them she “replaced all she could afford. She replaced all but 6 of them because some of them were still salvageable”. We paid for our oil change and left. The next day we took our car to a family friend to have the rest of the 6 lug nuts replaced only to find out they didn’t actually replace ANY of them. We called the service manager Brian who said he talked to the mechanic and service desk and they said none of them were replaced because my parents showed up and took the car before they could replace them. Good thing my car was already pulled out front before my parents showed up, right? Not only did they tell me they wouldn’t be able to put my old lug nuts back on, but they also told me they replaced them with new ones, a double lie!! I am so thankful I didn’t waste the $250 they wanted to charge me for 20 new lug nuts. Awful, awful, awful customer service and management. Don’t waste your...
Read moreLast week I brought my wife's car in for service on her 2013 Ford Fusion. The power steering was no longer working. After diagnosing, the service department called me back and stated some type of animal chewed through a wire which was causing the power steering issue. They stated in order to fix the problem it would be over $2,000 to replace the steering gear. I trusted there assessment, but thought maybe it could be done somewhere else for cheaper. So I decided to get another opinion. I paid Broadway Ford a $135 diagnosing fee. I then took the vehicle to another reputable repair shop, thank gosh I did because they replaced the chewed through wire for $42 total, completely repairing the issue. The reputable repair shop stated there was nothing wrong with the steering gear so why would you fix/replace something that doesn't need fixing or replacing. It was just the chewed wire that needed replacing. I called back Broadway Ford and asked why this was not an option when I had it in. They simply said they "thought" it stated somewhere in there service manual that replacing just the wire was not an option. I asked them to please send me confirmation of this and the service manager stated he would look into it and call me back. He still has not. I've called and left messages and have still heard nothing in return. It seemed to me he was just trying to get me off the phone with no intention of returning my calls or helping me understand why in the world they wanted to charge me over $2,000 to replace something not broken. When I bring my car to have it repaired I trust that the people looking at the car are giving me an honest and fair assessment or at least giving me all the repair options. I also asked the sales manager if I could at least just be reimbursed my $135 diagnosing fee because of the improper diagnosis. He stated he would look into that as well. I'm still waiting for that call too. My wife and I have spent lots of money at Broadway Ford throughout the years. Our trust has been broken. We will be taking our business elsewhere...
Read moreTerrible service. My truck needed new front wheel bearings that would be covered under warranty so they had to use OEM parts. It took two weeks for the part to come in (not a big deal) so when that day came I dropped my truck off and was told that it would be finished today. Later that day I received a call stating that my bearings were sold to another dealership and that they didn’t know when or where they could get the parts. I asked the service manager to move my truck away from the mess of vehicles they have in the back so no one would run into it. I was told that he would but when I stopped by on Saturday to get some things out of my truck I found it in the middle parked and inch away from another vehicle. At that time I noticed a door ding on my back fender. On Monday I gave them that feedback and was told that they didn’t cause the ding. I can’t prove that they did but I am pretty particular with my truck so I know it wasn’t there. That same day I was told that they found the parts at a dealership in MN and we’re going to get them shipped over. Thursday I called for an update and was told that my truck would be done that day. To make sure it was OEM parts i asked for the QR code and batch number. The service tech got flustered and told me she would call me back. When she called me back she said that these were after market parts and that Ford instructed them to use after market. They installed the after market parts and I picked up my truck that day. This whole scenario made me furious. Broadway danced around the issues and were untruthful about it. They even refused to fix my door ding. If they would have been honest I would not have had a problem. I would give a zero but it...
