Absolutely horrible place!
Do not waste your money here. The servers are rude and ignored us for about ten minutes upon walking in. We considered leaving and should have followed our instincts. The food on the brunch buffet was terrible... everything was either undercooked or greasy. I ate a bite of bacon (rubbery), a bite of sausage (greasy), and half of a small pancake that was tough and tasteless. I went back up for a second plate and only 1 thing... I think it was supposed to be chicken fried steak but my cat has puked up more appetizing looking things.
Again, took a bite and pushed it away. Despite looking displeased, no one came over to ask how the food was until they wanted their money. I told our waitress how dreadful everything was, and she rolled her eyes and walked away. No apologies, no offer of something else... nothing. I then called over the manager. She told me that she didn't believe that the server was rude to me. She said that was the best server they had, and then went on to say everyone else loves their food so I must be sick. Again, no apology, offer to get me something else, or offer to comp the meal in full or part.
We went up to pay and she continued to go on and on about how she'd been doing this for 20 years and knows how to run a business, how good the food is, how great the waitstaff was... blah blah blah. Talk about having your head buried in the sand! I felt sick to my stomach for hours after I left and my husband felt sick as well (he was a trooper and actually ate a decent amount off the buffet). The food was atrocious but the service was worse. I will never go here again, and I encourage others to avoid making the mistake we did and trying...
Read moreMy husband and I went on Friday for the buffet. The food on the buffet was flavorless and you tell it wasn't fresh. They didn't replace to fast the food on the buffet to often. The best thing on the buffet was the salad it was that bad.. The service was just as bad maybe even worse. They sat us down and no waitress to ask what we were ordering or or drinks for at least a good ten minutes. My husband has to get up and ask the lady who sat us do we have a server. Hostess ended up getting or drinks well there was just 4 waitresses sitting around talking and occasionally waiting on tables. The hostess told the waitress that I assume was suppost to wait on us because they sat there staring at us and talking too one another. The waitress did get us two refills after they were empty for awhile. So if your looking for good food avoid at all cost it isn't good food and for two buffets it was $35.00 not worth it you can find good food somewhere else. We wait for awhile for our bill too then waitress was upset because we didn't tip. Sorry but this place lacks good service. It's like your bothering them when they have to wait on you which is there job. So sad. The decor is deary and not nice. We won't be back and you should find somewhere else to eat if you never been and considering eating her. Avoid at all cost you will regret it...
Read moreI guess you have to be a "regular" to get any kind of good service at this place! I was out and about w/my 70-some y/o mother, and she wanted to go here because she likes their ham/chz omelette. You know...the one where they slap 2 pcs. of American cheese singles on top and throw it in the microwave so it melts. Our server (which I'm pretty sure is a lifer because the whole place knew her name) only came to our table twice, besides taking our order. Once to deliver our food, and the other time was to give us our bill. I sat and watched as she frequently checked on other guests, including a couple sitting at a 5-top. This makes a customer feel like they are unwanted and overlooked. But boy, was she right there to collect her measely $2 tip as we got up! Then she checked us out. No words were spoken to us except the total, and handed my mother back the change. My guess is she was irritated at the minimal tip she just put in her pocket. BECAUSE I have been a server for the past 15 years, I truly believe you hafta earn your wage in this industry. I always give servers the benefit of the doubt because I've been in their shoes. And I'm usually an over-tipper, but this time I didn't find it necessary to pay someone for their service when they...
