This was a great place to visit and learn about James Whitcomb Riley. So much history in one place! They are making improvements on the property and the tour experience will be even better soon. Since it was such a small community, her relatives/ friends were familiar with Riley's relatives. She was able to relay lots of stories about the Rileys. Read moreMy son and I drove over 40 minutes to go on a tour. We planned this for our Saturday afternoon activity, however, we only showed up for the doors to be locked with a closed sign up. We came to find out, upon going to the back, that it was rented out by a private party. The website made no mention of this. All I can say is this was rude and unprofessional....
