Well I have been to Wings Legs and Thighs twice now both times I was served disappointment and Dessert.
Really my biggest issue is signage and branding.
My partner and I are not fans of dry light meat chicken so when she saw the wings legs and thighs she wanted to check it out.
First time was Friday night. We show up at 9:05 the sign said it closes at 10. No they changed to closing at 9 on Friday. She got a cream Brulee and it was pretty good but we did no leave with dark meat chicken.
Second time was Monday. I had a errends to run that I could have put off but she wanted chicken. So I went in I figured I would grab an 8 piece and some sides. No it turns out they only serve wings and white meat chicken tenders Monday-Friday. Then I look at the menu and there is no chicken by the piece on the menu, there is no bucket of chicken, there is not even an all dark meat chicken option. So I bought an onion bloom and and a flañ. Onion bloom was on the burnt and kind of unseasoned side the flan was chocolate cake with some thick layer on top.
Really I think my issue is signage and branding. It is not a chicken place and really not a dark meat chicken place. It is a smoke house and everyone who was eating in seemed to be enjoying what they...
Read moreThis is a great location, I love the old building downtown and the style in here really fits well. It's really clean in here, and the service was fast and friendly.
The 6 pc wing combos are a great deal. We tried the BBQ Chipotle and sweet BBQ sauces and they were both really good. The combos also came with a large number of fries which was welcomed. The fast casual style of self-service drinks and access to condiments was convenient.
We also got a side of fried mushrooms, which I feel like was a little pricey and possibly a little overcooked. I would skip those next time. I tried the hot chicken sandwich and I'm guessing maybe either it's not supposed to actually have any heat, or they didn't make it as a hot one because there was no heat to it. It was two chicken tenders on a bun with maybe a dusting of chili powder? It wasn't bad but it wasn't what I was expecting. I wouldn't personally get that again, but I would come back just for the wings. Also, is it weird that I was expecting to see chicken legs and thighs...
Read moreWe was in noblesville today went to Costco's along the way home pasted up BJ's eatery Chewys and olive garden twice just to try this new place in town. Wow what a mistake got two Dabbing hot chicken sandwiches, one Loaded spicy chicken fries, one Blooming onion for a total of $46.40. The only item that was good at all was the chicken sandwiches how you can call that chili powder dust hot is funny no heat at all. The blooming onion was so under cooked couldn't even eat them. It was like Texas roadhouse blooming onions which are amazing Sitten in your refrigerator for two days and take it out, warming up in the microwave they were like warm mush. The Loaded spicy chicken fries pretty much the same as the onion fries under cooked. Cant use the excuse they was busy either only one other table eating. Place is 1 and...
