Pizza King — Restaurant in Greenfield

Very disappointed in the manager tonight 8/14. We called and ordered for delivery. We order here all the time. When ordering we were asked if we wanted to leave a tip for the driver. We did. We wait an hour and 15 minutes before we call only for the manager to get extremely rude saying how it was for takeout and it had been sitting at the store. We tipped the driver, why would it be takeout. The manager proceeds to get more angry asking what we wanted her to do about it. Like can we please get it delivered? She proceeds to tell us that she has new trainees but she was so irritated. Never once apologized. And insinuated that we needed to come pick up the pizza. We kindly asked if we could get it delivered (and remade since it was sitting out for 1+ hour not to our fault, but due to the fault of the trainee which she admitted) since we already paid for the driver, she just says yep. And hangs up. Now… when did customer service get so hard? I was in customer service for ten years and would never have talked to a customer like that. Completely ridiculous. Mostly kids work here and don’t know how to treat anyone .

Update ; after two hours of waiting, we got a cold burnt pizza. Beyond annoyed to pay high dollar for this. Would’ve been better off going to a different chain for a third...

Out-of-towner in Indiana for the holidays. Decided to stay at a hotel instead of staying with family, so you gotta stock the fridge, right? Asked a family member what pizza place they would recommend, and they said Pizza King. Little did we know we were in for more of a treat than we expected.

Having done a near 10+ year stint in NC, we came to love a certain pizza joint there. We had our kids' birthday parties there, and frequented it for friend's birthday parties, as well. It was the go to place.

Upon entering the Pizza King building, the aroma immediately brought back memories. Although we have been gone from NC for nearly 22 years, it was one smell that I never forgot. I was like there is no way! Upon getting into the vehicle, my wife IMMEDIATELY said it smells just like Sir Pizza! She cracked open the box and said it looked just like it.

Once we got into the room we immediately tore into that pie, and our assumptions were correct. Man, what a great find!

Besides the wonderful memories, the staff was excellent. They actually engaged me in conversation and we had a good laugh. We'll...

Zero customers in the store. Arrived at the store for a DoorDash and they had an even looked at the receipt yet. She looks me right in the eye and said that'll be 6 minutes. And then proceeds to have a 10 minute long conversation with her co-worker and then asks her hey what kind of pizza am I making for that door dash? So then she takes her sweet time making it and then it still has to cook in the oven. About 22 total minutes later she says oh it's coming out of the oven now honey. So I stand up and can clearly see the oven that does not have pizza coming out of it.

I don't know what I'm supposed to do or how I'm supposed to act to people who are blatantly lying and this worthless.

I should have called the health department on this place 8 years ago when I worked here and the manager asked me to spray down the counters and wipe up the maggots that were falling out of the wall where we fold boxes. I just didn't want to deal with it at the time and just walked out instead. I could have saved thousands of customers grief not having to deal with this...
