Traveling across the country, we decided to stop in Greenfield for the night and celebrate our anniversary. Saw the wonderful ratings for Tuscan Table, so thought we’d give it a try.
Walked into what looked like an abandoned community center, so we weren’t sure we were in the right place…but then saw a Tuscan Table sign. Whew!
It made me realize this is a new starting-up restaurant, which excited me…I love to try new restaurants and help them get on their way, if so deserving.
So glad we went in…they are more than deserving, and I’ve truly hope Chef Tony and his wife Tracey take off on their delectable journey!
Note: No liquor license at this time (05/2025), so BYOB
The food is creative, fresh and delicious…some things you generally see on a menu, some you don’t. And you can choose from prix fixe menu or an a la carte menu.
Homemade focaccia with a wonderful homemade marinara sauce…I had to make myself stop eating it, so I’d have room for the rest of the meal. Mama Lou’s salad dressing…fresh, light and delicious. Quiche Blossoms…flaky pastry yumminess with a creamy artichoke and spinach filling. Homemade gnocchi….light and perfect little pillows, with a rich pork ragu. Chicken Marsala…homemade fettuccine with a slightly sweet flavorful marsala sauce and perfectly tender chicken. Homemade cheesecake…light, creamy, not too sweet deliciousness. My husband’s all-time favorite dessert, and he proclaimed this the best he’s had. And he’s had a lot!
I hope you noted how many times I said HOMEMADE…everything is!
Can’t say enough about the fabulous food Chef Tony creates, with real quality ingredients…and that his wife Tracey so kindly and knowledgeably serves.
Wish we lived closer, so we...
Read moreMy husband and I were excited to try a new-to-us family owned restaurant. The restaurant is in what looks to be an old church building so the space is a little awkward.
I ordered the ravioli which was very bland. The ravioli didn’t have much filling and the cheese inside the ravioli was an odd texture.
My husband ordered the chicken fettuccine. When he cut into the chicken it was pink/clear on the inside and looked undercooked. He notified a server and the chef made him a new plate. However, he wasn’t a huge fan of the dish as it didn’t have much flavor and the sauce had an acidic aftertaste. It wasn’t a super creamy Alfredo style sauce which is what he expected.
The bread was soft, but like the other dishes, not very flavorful. But the cheesecake and carrot cake were pretty good. The staff were very kind and attentive.
Despite my husband’s chicken appearing to be undercooked, nothing was removed from the bill. We didn’t ask for anything to be removed but I was surprised they didn’t make any adjustments to the bill. They stated that the chicken is brined and then cooked so it’s supposed to be very soft. However, we weren’t comfortable eating chicken pieces that appeared...
Read moreTonight was our first time coming here, and we were celebrating a late Valentine's Day celebration as my boyfriend and I are also restaurant workers and served others for the day. When we pulled up, I wasn't entirely sure we were at the right place, but there is a cozy little restaurant hiding in that big building. Every staff member was amazing and conversational. Chef Tony came to the table, and he was super sweet and appreciative that we were there. They even gave me a dozen roses! We tried the soup and the quiches for our appetizers, both delicious, but the quiches were phenomenal! We both got the chicken marsala, but I wish one of us would have gotten something different so we could try more of his food. The chicken was incredibly tender, and the wine sauce had an excellent flavor. Now those desserts...holy moly. We got the apple cake and the cinnamon gelato in a pizzelle shell. Seriously probably the best desserts I have ever had.
We paid $45 each for this three-course meal, and it was 100% worth it. With both the amazing staff and spectacular food, we will definitely come back for another celebration...
