2nd time I have ordered biscuits and gravy to go. First time I only got a few pieces of sausage in my full order of B&G. So when I called to order again I requested I get more sausage then last time. They wanted to charge me for extra sausage. I said no just give me sausage gravy. More than 2 pieces of sausage for 2 biscuits. I go pick up order. Before leaving look at my order and again I only got 2 pieces of sausage. I take it back in. Request manager. He just looks at me from a distance and sends over waitress. I explain to her the issue. Because I even called and asked this before I ordered it so this wouldn't happen. Manager tells the waitress something then she goes to the back. Few minutes later she comes back with a small container. Shows manager and they put it in my bag and she brings it to me. I ask what it is and she said that it's sausage links for me to cut up and put in my gravy. 1. That to me was absolutely poor customer service 2. I paid for sausage gravy. If they wanted me to make my own I would have stayed home and done that. 3. The taste of the sausage in the gravy is good, cut up sausage links put in the gravy don't taste anywhere as good. Not once did the manager ever attempt to talk to me. Just stand and stare. Needless to say I am not going back again. I am so frustrated, so that is why such a long review. Almost 10$ for Gravy...
Read moreHave been a customer since day one when they opened, and this is where the locals eat. You will not find a better restaurant than this for breakfast and lunch. The owner is the best - he just knows how to connect, and he is a total pro on how to run a great restaurant. The hostesses (or host), servers, busboys, and cooks work as a team, and it really shows. The food is excellent - the menu is excellent - plenty for everyone to enjoy from traditional meals to those wanting healthier choices and also dishes with an international flair . Wonderful salads and the best chili (October to April) this side of Texas. You can enjoy the best fresh squeezed orange juice (pricey but worth it) as well as a nice mimosa, wine or beer. In the rare occasion that something is not to your liking, just speak up, because they aim to please. While you are there, enjoy the nice shops across the street and other nearby shops. Just remember - Lincoln closes at 3 PM. Thanks Costas for your fabulous restaurant and making everyone feel like family when they come...
Read moreWent in with a group of 5. That was instantly a problem for the hostess as she rolled her eyes when i told her the 5th person was joining us in a few mins. I had requested a booth as we had children with us who wouldn't stay seated at a table and i wanted to be as little a disruption for other guests as possible. She didn't like this either, sighed and grumbled i guess its ok when i requested a booth. She then proceeded to glare at us out entire visit making it very uncomfortable. Other than that the food was great, they did have a price increase so plan on spending about $12 a person there. I didnt like the favt that kids meals cost $6 and dont even include the drink. I feel for that price they should at least include the beverage. The waiter was fantastic! Very patient with all the kids. If we do go back I definitely dont think i would bring my kids as that seemed to present a major problem...
