I recently had a truly infuriating experience with Best Buy's same day shipping service, or should I say lack thereof. I was enticed by the prospect of receiving my product on the very same day of purchase, but unfortunately, Best Buy failed miserably to live up to their promises. Allow me to share the details of this frustrating ordeal.

After placing my order, I eagerly awaited the arrival of my purchase, expecting it to be delivered promptly as advertised. However, as the day progressed, I grew increasingly disappointed and frustrated. The delivery window provided by Best Buy came and went, with no sign of my package. A lot of things have gotten better since covid as far as online orders and quick pick up type services; that cannot be said for best buy in Greensboro. This has occurred to me multiple times and I have now decided to share my story. Online order ready in 1 hour pick up. This doesn't mean ready when we have time to get to it, ready tomorrow, or ready in 4 hours, but at the Greensboro location it can mean any of those things at best. Numerous times I have made an order and I actually wait until I receive the text to go pick up the order. I have gotten to the store only to be told my order wasn't ready or one item in your order is ready but not all. Today is an example of that. Five items in my order which was filled at 530pm with the store not closing until 7pm. I received the text saying it was ready and I arrived at the store at 615. Oh we're sorry sir we're really short staffed today and we don't have your order ready. Well I can wait here until closing will it be ready by then? No probably not but you're more than welcome to go inside and ask. Alright so it's quick curbside pick up but now I have to go inside and ask to get my order. I go inside and ask. Well sir we're really busy and it probably won't be ready before we close. What you could do is you could walk around and find all the items yourself and then we can just check you out and mark them off your list as picked up. So we managed to get one of your items ready and tell you to come pick up your stuff but we didn't fill your entire order at that time oh no. So is that how we do business? We randomly fill items from multiple people's orders and tell them they're ready for pick up but don't actually complete anyone's order in its entirety? It's 32 miles one way to make this trip and have had this happen multiple times. I don't know if it's bad staff not doing what they're supposed to or poor business practice of only preparing partial orders and then notifying the customers. But even then I was willing to wait 40 minutes until closing for them to just finish up my order. It wasn't TVs and major appliances it was all items that could fit in one plastic bag. Did anyone offer to do that or make it right? No they told me to go find it myself in the store. I see no reason to return to this store...
