National Park Service — Attraction in Greensboro

We love Guilford Courthouse Nat'l Military Park! We utilize the multiple, easy interior walking paths where quite often we'll see groups of deer walking, resting and grazing. Watch where you (and your kids and dogs) step though, being a natural forest there are snakes here too. PSA: If you walk your dog in the outer, driving loop, be mindful of cyclists, some of them will fly by giving no notice that they are coming up behind you. I've had one close call where my dog nearly got clipped by a cyclist going WAY too fast. (I had my ear buds in and did not know he was coming up behind me.) Not surprisingly his attitude was, 'Watch your dog!' 😑😤😡 And mine was, 'Slow down!!! You were coming up too...

This is the third time I have been here. Good display in the welcome center. The best thing in the summer is the walking trails. I have found it delightful to watch the collage girls on their walks and jogging. Right in Greensboro where there's several collages nearby. This place has a great history for a very important revolutionary battle. The Americans lost but they depleted General Cornwallis force so they retreated...

The Guilford Courthouse Military Battlefield was awesome. The 2 videos were excellent and extremely detailed about the battle and all the players in it. The Park Rangers were extremely knowledgable about the battle a d where the battlefield was compared to where roads are today. Very highly recommend for kids and adults of all ages...
