Super cute boutique, hidden behind a beautiful tree between Harper’s Restaurant and The Loft. My daughter and I found this place because we were specifically looking for E Newtons to buy for her friends’ upcoming birthday. We live out of town and headed out after we both were finished with work. It took us 45 mins to get there, we finally found the case holding the jewelry we were interested in, with no help from the staff,; I’m assuming because we were dressed down after being at work early on a Saturday, We conversed with each other, my daughter and I, about the pieces we liked, eventually had to ask for help, while both staff members were standing right behind us at the register and never offered any assistance. When I told the young lady that I would take the 3 pieces I had decided on she directed me to the other staff member, yawning behind the register; I guess it was too much of a bother for her to do such a task. As the lady behind the register realized it was nothing for me to drop some money at the shop she started using my name, my first name, not because she had engaged with me but because she had read it from my card. You never know who you’re dealing with, be kind and grateful always, I’m sure we weren’t the first to be judged and such instances can be the downfall of a business. Read moreSadly my family has loved this store in the past. But our experience over Thanksgiving has made it so that we will never shop there again. Extremely rude owner. Very disrespectful and condescending. Yes they have a policy of no money back ever on a return - and yes that is their policy and their right to never give money back. But you would think from a basic customer service perspective there should be exceptions under dire circumstances. But they refuse. That is their right, but they do not have to be so unbelievably rude and condescending about it. The owner needs to learn how to be more respectful and courteous to her long time customers. Even her workers were embarrassed at how she treated my sister. She has lost us forever and we've spent a ton of money over the years. But she does not care. I went in prior to 30 days to inquire about one of the bracelets tarnishing within 2wks of purchasing. I was advised there is nothing we can do. Amazed, because my boyfriend purchased a bracelet by the same manufacture odd the bracelet from a reputable jeweler in Highpoint, as a gift to add to my collection. WHO advised during the selection process "if you have any issues with your purchase please bring it back and we will take care of you." Great service and informative!! Not once during my transaction with the silver gallery did anyone mention the "no return policy" I will NEVER purchase anther item and I will adamantly recommend others not to patronize...
