What a horrible experience we had at The Cheesecake Factory today! The galore leading up to the eatery seemed promising, and the atmosphere was decent. However, the table we were seared at was a mess and didn’t look like it was even cleaned! We were served water to start, but it was served in plastic jars, so big and bulky! We then got two mock tails, a guava and a passion fruit, yet one was too sour, and the other lacked enough fizz. We were also served some complimentary bread which tasted stale, and were given some rock-hard butter to spread, which you can assume didn’t go too well. The waiter frequently checked on us though!
On to the food! We first started out with the Korean Fried Cauliflower served with a dip. The cauliflower wasn’t thoroughly fried and the dish was too sweet, and it felt as if extra sugar was added. The dip gave it some flavor though! We then got some avocado tacos, one of the only good things we tasted on our visit. The tortillas were nice and light, and the veggies added a refreshing contrast to the fried avocado.
We then got a flatbread pizza that was served as such a hot temperature that we almost burnt our tongues! The taste wasn’t too great either, and the cheese wasn’t very authentic. Another big issue at this place was that they wouldn’t give us plates for each dish so we had to use that tiny plate that they gave us for the breads! They finally provided us with some when we asked.
For main course, we tried the veggie burger, which was apparently made with rice and black beans — but this was the biggest disappointment out of them all! At such a high cost, the quality was just not up to the mark! The burger patty was so dry and flavorless, and there were not good sauces or vegetables to compliment it. The bun too was humongous and hard to eat. It was also served with fries, unseasoned, which were just as bland as the burger, but tasted decent with ketchup.
Next up is the dessert — of course we had to get cheesecakes, and we had high hopes! First, we tried a lemon raspberry crème cheesecake, which was truly one of the worst we ever tried! The cake itself wasn’t awful, but the worst part was that whoever was making it opened up the bottle of red sauce and just DUMPED it onto our plates! The presentation was awful! We also got a 30th anniversary cheesecake, which was better. The layers of fudge cake were nice and the whipped crème was fresh. However, the spoons served with the cake were oh so gigantic!!!
We finally got our bill and there was an error on it but it could resolved quickly. The bathrooms were clean though! Our waiter was also extremely friendly! We also tried a full cheesecake from them previously, but it wasn’t good either. Just get your cakes from Cheesecakes by Alex or Costco.
We might be back after a...
Read moreGood lord I don’t even know where to begin. We were quoted 30-45 mins and 15 mins later we were texted stating our table was ready. Love that for us. That was the only ok part of the entire experience. Our server, Becca, greeted us about 10 mins after we sat. No big deal. It’s a Saturday, it’s busy, we get it. While she is taking our drink order, the last person to order tried to ask for lemons for his water but she collected the last drink request then scurried off before he could even ask. Couple of min go by and we get our drinks. Great. She seems weeded and lets us know that she will be back to take our food order. Some time goes by and she comes back. She takes our order then lets us know that the brown bread is not available yet as more was being made and when it finishes, she will bring a basket over. We are all totally fine with that. She said that the bread would take 6 or 7 mins. 20 mins go by and we ask again. She says the bread still hasn’t been made and should be coming up shortly. We tell her to just go ahead and bring over the basket of the other bread. She does but we then have to ask for silverware. Food finally comes out after waiting about 50 mins after ordering (about 5 mins before our food gets there, Becca lets us know that the kitchen is pretty backed up). Had to wait longer for a couple of items but that’s ok. Food’s there and we are starving at this point. Most of us ABSOLUTELY BODIES the food while one member of our group takes her time. The server takes some plates then leaves. A busser comes by to assist and start clearing silverware and puts the dirty silverware directly in a glass of water that was still being consumed. That was crazy. Busser then proceeded to attempt to take the plate of the person still eating. Literally still eating from the plate while trying to take it. We spoke with a manager at that point as everything seemed unwelcoming and we were being rushed out. He offered to comp only 3 cheesecakes, which makes no sense seeing as there were 6 of us and needed 3 checks and all 6 of us order cheesecake. Oddly enough, the cheesecake comps made no sense either. They comped 2 from one couple, 1 from another, then nothing from another. We all agreed how awful the experience was so why UNEVENLY distribute the comps!? Along with that, the manager never communicated who got what cheesecakes so the checks were all messed up. Checks were fixed, comps weren’t. Whatever. Cheesecake comes out, they drop us an extra cheesecake which was nice and very much an accident. The cheesecakes were all in bags to go. Never once asked if we wanted them to go so we asked for spoons and enjoyed them there. Overall, TERRIBLE experience. Will not be back at this location. Oh and we STILL NEVER RECEIVED THE...
Read moreDont waste your time, just get cheese cake and leave. I don’t think I’ve ever left a negative review, until now. I always just say “well I won’t go back” and leave it there. The only reason I even feel compelled to do so now is I feel like I’ve been robbed twice. I’ve been to this location one time prior and the food was honestly terrible but I just left it at that and made no complaints. But, this specific visit it felt doomed from the start. Hostess told us 20 minute wait which considering it being a Saturday night I was thrilled about that estimate; our 20 minute wait resulted in a 40 minute wait (party of 3 adults). I finally received my text stating our table was ready, once I was acknowledged by the hostesses and told her I had received my text, she looked for several minutes and said “someone was taken in your spot, you will have to sit on the patio if you’d like to be seated now” it’s October and it’s night, it’s 61 degrees but….thats fine, I’ve drove with my family over an hour to come eat so, yes seat us on the patio. Our server was nice and promptly took our order, we ordered the fried mozzarella as an appetizer, I ordered the steak and eggs, other guest ordered grilled salmon, 3rd guest ordered ribeye steak and potatoes. Then we wait… and wait… and wait. We stop our server and inquire about our appetizer and he says he will check on that since we’re nearing an hour since we’ve ordered. A food runner comes to our table with one plate…. he has the ribeye plate ordered by one of the guests. That’s great… where’s the appetizer? I tell the server if he could just remove the app if it’s going to come out after our meal we’re no longer interested. Which he apologized for and assured us he would make sure his manager would know. Then we wait… and wait… and wait. The guest with the ribeye plate has completed their meal. No sight of the other two dinners ordered. The server stops by and looks confused and says he’s going to grab his manager. Our food comes out finally, my steak ordered medium is burnt, well done and the salmon is charred on the outside and nearly raw inside, very obviously swiftly cooked. And everything is just subpar, while our other guest is and has been done eating their meal. Finally the manager arrives to which I explain “I do not complain EVER, but this is just ridiculous, and the server is not at fault this is 100% your kitchen.” She agreed and offered to give us a 50% discount which was nice and not required, our meals still ended up being $100, I wish I would’ve just went to a fast food place. To my server I’m so sorry you have to apologize for your kitchen multiple times a night, I hope you have a better opportunity come your way. For context our arrival time 6:20pm our departure...
