Terrible time at this location. I’ve been here hundreds of time is the past, but this time was horrible. I went to get a foam board made. I ask the clerk to look at the image a tell how big of size can I go up to. She says 36” and 24” she tells me it’s $60 but she can do a %25 discount that brought the foam board print to around $50. She shows me a how a foam board print looks compared to canvas. The sample she showed me It looked great, it have a shiny gloss on it. So I’m expecting to get something that’s the the size of 36x24” glossy. Returned Back to the store see something around 25x24” almost 10”s shorter. The clerk told me that she had to cut because of the resolution of my image, I say oooooh kk. I asked was it a difference in price being that I am now getting a board that 10 inches smaller she said no it is the same price. So I went to the counter to discuss it further, and I waited patiently while she helped another customer. While she was helping another customer, another employee came up and asked if I needed help. I I showed him the poster-board and the size that I was supposed to get versus what I had. He said yea that’s way off. When he goes back to the computer to look my receipt to verify that I was suppose to get a 36x24” the clerk begins to talk to him. He comes and tells me that she said that I knew about the size and they the image was going to me smaller and that’s why she give me her employee discount. I tell him that’s not true, and he began to defend his co worker by telling me to go somewhere else and get it done. I tell him to look a the sample board compared to what I was giving he says that that sample came from corporate and they can get to look like that and Tells me she’s right. The manger who stood in there the whole time and said nothing. I told him if his co worker said that she gave me a discount for having to cut board Much shorter then that’s a lie. I told them they have my number if they needed to contact me if that knew the size was going to change. He tells me to take a refund and go somewhere as to shut me up. She finally comes back over ask her about why she told her coworker and she just talked in circles saying that don’t worry about my go worker he doesn’t work over here in copy and print. So I told her to refund me, she gets the manager the manager names “Jen”doesn’t say a word to me. Doesn’t ask me anything about the situation and processes the return. Very Unprofessional. Waste of time. Will never spend a dime again...
Read moreEmailed documents to be printed and stapled. Was emailed back stating order would be ready for pickup 1:30 pm. Stopped by store at 3:30 pm, they hadn’t even started running the order. Man in the print department said they had been busy, and showed no sense of urgency in getting the order ready. When pressed, he said he was going to have to get some help to get the order ready, again no sense of urgency in doing so. Spoke with the store manager Matt, who basically told us we should cut them some slack because they had been very busy. I could actually understand and deal with that. Things happen. But, no apologies. No empathy for the fact that we were late leaving town due to them. And, when they did bring us the documents they had not stapled them! They told us that the order did not state “stapling.” I told them to check and when they did it clearly said “stapled.” I asked for a stapler and stapled them myself because, again, no sense of urgency or even a hint that they cared that they had — again — disappointed a customer. When I told the manager how frustrated I was with him and the individual running their print department he told me I should be grateful he had the employee stop doing other things to take care of our order. No sense of customer service at all. Incredibly disappointing experience. I will...
Read moreOn Thursday I bought an Epson Printer. It was the last one of that model in stock so it came right off the display shelf. They were out of ink for that printer so I had to stop at Staples for ink, $70,00. I took it home, 50 miles away. It did not print. Friday I drove back. The technician took 2 hours and finally came to the conclusion that the ink jets were stuck open and all the ink drained out. Not fixable. I was offered an exchange, for a few more dollars. We checked out that printer and it worked fine. However, they then charged me for new ink cartridge's . I was told that the person checking me out could not give me complementary ink because it would look like a store theft and go against him. I know most stores have a way to show that an item has been given "in good will." No good will here. $70.00 of ink down the drain of a bad printer. Not to mention two hours of driving time, and a 100 miles...
