This place smh...i understand you having to push your line and be productive but no one was behind me.. the young lady that rung us up was knowingly deceptive & trying to trick me into leaving without checking my food to discover my missing items. They have a sign up saying "text * to * get a free bufford with any purchase. I ordered 4 meals. We all texted & got the coupon for free buffords. I told her at least 4 times at the ordering spot we all had a coupon. We got 1 free sandwich. I questioned where's the other ones -she makes up excuses which results in the manager coming near the window to address me. We're all holding our phones im trying to show her & she's yelling where's the 4th person? Telling me is only 3 people in my vehicle. smh. After she notices the 4th passenger she motioned me & said move to the side I'll bring therm out to you. She sends this kid out with a stinking attitude asking me where's the other phone & telling me i can't use two phones. She's arguing back & forth with me then tells me talk to the manager. (The one i spoke with had come outside to listen). I drove over to her and again was antagonized for trying to get my other sandwich. After more fussing she said reluctantly said -ima give it to you this time. Then told the crew to make it. The same young girl brought the bag out -pinched between two fingers as if she was holding a snotty, booger napkin. She said- here you go & smirked flinging the bag towards me. After all that we were scared to even eat the food thing the way they acted they may have done something to the food. We love a big bufford sandwich but not at our healths expense. I have heard horror stories what people do to customers food when disagreements flare. It's a shame. I was a paying customer & was treated like i was trying to steal something. Talked to badly & disrespectful by the kids working there who clearly don't have any morals or respect for adults. We all agreed to NEVER go back there again. We will spend our hard earned money somewhere it's appreciated & eat at a place the sanitation rating matches the service. Gene (The GM) some of those young kids gonna get you a bad rep! The manager lady did give us all the sandwiches but who needs the argument, headache, suspicions food & shocked looks from the customers all standing by & listening....
Read moreCheckers in Greenville is a joke! We came to Checkers to pick up dinner. Our drinks came out before the food. While waiting for the food, my daughter tasted her tea and said it was horrible. We asked the cashier at the window if we could trade the tea for a soft drink because it tasted bad. The cashier refused to trade the tea (a full cup, minus the one sip, that we were offering back to her, not trying to get two drinks and only pay for one). She said we’d have to pay for a replacement drink, even though the first one was bad. So we asked how much it would cost for a new one since this was what my daughter was drinking with her meal. The cashier said, “I don’t know. I’ve got cars waiting behind you. You’ll have to pull around and go back through the line.” We told her to forget it; we’d just stop somewhere else and get the drink. When we got home and opened up the food, it wasn’t even prepared the way we ordered it due to the cashier ringing it up wrong-the cook prepared it according to the ticket, so it wasn’t his/her fault. And our sauces that were rung up, and we were charged for, were left out of the bag. I sent a message to the corporate website and have yet to get a response (2 days ago) so I’m left to assume that customer satisfaction and customer service aren’t high on the priority list for Checkers so there’s no wonder this employee behavior is tolerated. Read moremy brother came from out of state, we were getting food for 4 people, the person at the drive thru was very tempermental with us after the first order. we literally were getting the bacon burger for one person and they wanted different things on their burger, so we gave the list, and the woman taking our order kept interupting us with "it dont come with that." and we kept responding, we know, it costs extra. and the woman would get angrier with us for going back and forth like this 3 times. then it comes time for my brothers order and he wanted the bacon one also and the woman just blew her top " I ALREADY DID THAT ORDER!" and just started going off not letting him order. she quit taking our order and got the manager, and instead of going through the whole ordeal again we just decided to leave. the only way to leave is to wait through the whole drive through line, so we were stuck waiting on every car to get through. Checkers line takes a bit or time. Ive been back here maybe once or twice to see if the service was any better, but most times it is a whole ordeal just trying to get that one burger, just to add 1 item on it. i love the food, but to me it is so not worth the aggrevation of tempers I have to cycle through each time i go. and not to mention they always have the shakes on the menu but every time i have been it never seems to be working, ever.
