None of the food was good and we were charged for food we didn't get.
The wait was about half an hour, which was a bit unusual for the time and date, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating — the one good thing I can say about this place. The prices looked a little high, but I love a good burger, so why not. My wife and I ordered water, and I said I wanted a shake, but I wanted it with my meal (because refills aren't free, and I'm apt to finish it sooner).
About five minutes after we order, the milkshake comes out, and they make a big showing of it like the waitress never saw someone order it before (they did just open the day before). I tried it, it was good. Figured the food was right behind it. Took the food another 10 minutes or so. A bit longer than I'd like, but they were busy.
My wife got the chili, and she said it was okay, but I got a bite and it was like Wendy's chili. Decent, but nothing to write home about. Not my plate not my concern. But nothing about my burger was good. The condiments soaked through the bun. The burger was bland. They gave me a pickle with it even though I specified no pickle — what if I'd been allergic? And the bacon comes breaded and deep fried, which is weird, but it's so bulky it just doesn't fit on the burger, it's like a side, but the breading is disgusting and the bacon itself is just average. They're not doing anything special with it at best; at worst, they ruined good bacon. The fries were soggy and over salted.
I've never sent a plate back, but I couldn't eat this. The manager asked if something was wrong. I told him I didn't want to make a big deal, but I couldn't eat it. He asked for specifics, all I could really say was that nothing was good about it. He offered to make it right, and I ordered the nachos. About ten minutes later, my wife is done eating, and they bring us the check. I signed it blindly — no tip, which I feel a little bad about as the service itself was good, except the time, but again, they were busy. We figured we'd wait a bit, but we never saw the manager again, and never got the nachos. Overall it was a bad experience, so we just wanted to get out of there. When we got home, we looked at the receipt, and while they took the burger off, they charged us for the nachos, which they never served. The nachos were cheaper than the burger I ordered, and I was willing to pay for the burger even though it didn't meet my expectations, so the way I see it, I saved money, but it's not right to put something on a customer's bill and then not actually serve it. If I wanted to recoup the cost of the nachos, I probably could, but I'd just as soon take it as a lesson learned and...
Read moreOn a Wednesday evening, my large family spent $233.00 (including tip) via an online order.
One would think, employees and managers alike would realize this is a big order, and make sure they take their time to get it right!
Nope. Not at all.
Two of the burgers were supposed to be well done, they were medium at best. My burger was supposed to be medium, and it was well done!
Speaking of my burger, the Bacon burger on steroids! Well, I decided I wanted to upgrade my applewood bacon to the buttermilk fried bacon. And keep my jalapeño bacon. It came with just the buttermilk fried bacon, no jalapeño bacon. So much for the steroids! They forgot my pickles as well! (Pictured)
Both mushroom burgers made incorrectly.
Sister-in-law got chicken tenders that were so over cooked, they couldn’t be eaten. (Pictured)
Speaking of over cooked, the fries nor onion rings escaped that reality.
Wife was missing her side Caesar salad. Sister missing her large order of fries.
Ordered the not your mamas deviled eggs! YUCK!! First of all, they barely put any of the deviled part of the egg. They were rubbery, and at times sweet? Tasted nothing like a deviled egg! Maybe they would’ve been better with the same amount of deviled egg filling as they show in the photos! (Pictured)
So we decided to call and speak to a manager. Hahaha.
She did say she should’ve paid more attention to the order. She also said they have a person training on burger building.
As a manager myself, I’m interested in how someone is training by themselves without supervision? I mean, you train them on what’s the correct way vs what is the wrong way. So if you are there training them, you see what and where they need correction and you apply. Not let them mess a $200+ order up on their own. So either the trainer is terrible or the manager isn’t doing their job. I’m sorry that isn’t an excuse.
They offered to replace the missing sides, a couple of tenders, and my burger….. first of all, the only person who’s food was 100% correct and they were happy with their food was my wife whom gotten a salmon burger. Second of all, we just want to be refunded at this point, One should enjoy a $20.00 burger, and this was...
Read moreI have never had an issue with this place since they opened…..until today. I ordered the Nick Patty Melt and homemade chips appetizer through GrubHub. When I received my order all I had was two containers of chips no burger or no Tator tots. I called bad daddy’s because the receipt had my order correct so I thought. A young woman answered the phone laughing and I told her the situation she asked me my name and said “Oh yeah the guy just came and picked up an order and did not say anything.” I knew she was lying because my actual name was not on the receipt the generic name John Doe was which I did not know myself but okay no problem with that on their end. Anyway, I asked her could I just come pick it up myself because she blamed GrubHub she says “yeah sure.” I get to the restaurant and three women are standing there so, I explained to them what happened and immediately one of the girls started whispering to another girl about the situation so right then and there I knew she was the one I spoke with. She knew she was wrong because she kept cutting her eye at me and talking. One of the young ladies went to get the manager mind you my burger and Tator tots were not ready like the young lady made it seemed like it was, he said that usually didn’t happen and of course blamed GrubHub, so he went back and fixed my order. When he came back out I noticed that he had given me chips as my side and I did not even say anything because the receipt said chips. I do not know how it works when they receive an order from GrubHub but my receipt on my GrubHub app said Tator tots. At that point I just said the hell with it and went home. But, before that the same girl went to another coworker and started whispering and cutting her eye at me again while I was talking to the manager. I would have accepted them admitting they were wrong as well as me, but...
