Timmons Park is a 26.6 acre neighborhood park tucked away 5 minutes from Downtown in Greenville's Overbrook Historic District! This neighborhood park is home base for a big part of Greenville's vibrant pickleball community! Greenville natives, transplants, visitors, pickleball players, disc golfers, families & picnics welcome! You won't find a better way to meet a wide range of awesome people who call Greenville home! In addition to the 8 like new pickleball courts, Timmons Park is home to an 18 hole disc golf course, a brand new playground for the little ones, lots of trees and quiet spots to soak up the day. This is the perfect spot to spend an afternoon or soak up the outdoors on a quick lunch break. Regardless of how you choose to use the park, Timmons Park is sure to give you a feel for the good life...

I was deeply disappointed.. The park looked like the city had abandoned it. They posted three signs saying that there is a mountain bike trail--but had NO ARROWS pointing to it. One sign pointed upward to the sky, to indicate where the trail might be, but I did not see any trail there. I walked around the stream bed area, but saw only an abandoned disc golf course (now CLOSED), with many downed-logs blocking the path, which was in short segments, and eroded away by the stream bed.. The park is small, and I searched every part of it, but found NO TRAIL anywhere! I asked some visitors, but they didn't know where it was, either. There were NO bike riders there. I think this bike park is a HOAX! Greenville should be ashamed to have such a horrible park in its...

Timmons Park is a great place to golf and 18 hole intermediate to advance course. There are a few holes that you have to be pretty straight and narrow. The walk is beautiful and really fun to play. The only comments I really have about it is there are a couple holes near some sewage pipes but you only smell an odor for a short period. It's tolerable. Also, if you are new to the course, there aren't any, minus one, directional signs that point you in the correct direction so you don't end up missing hole 12 entirely. 😅 There are centrally located bathrooms, a nice park, tennis courts, and a baseball field from what I saw. Highly recommend visit...
