Wedding Festivals — Local services in Greenville

The festival had a ton of vendors which was great. I was able to see a lot of different options and get information from those I was interested in, or so I thought. I guess I should have assumed they would provide/sell my information to the vendors attending. However I did not, and I found it extremely annoying with the sheer number of emails I have inundated with from vendors I did not provide my information to, primarily because I was not interested in booking them or speaking to them further. I apologize if that sounds harsh, it's not my intention, but I also don't want to waste their time if I am not interested. (also not all of them offer an option to unsubscribe and more often than not even when you unsubscribe companies often have the option to go back and subscribe you again)

The festival was great to see a wide range of vendors but beware of providing your information to them. It really took away from my overall opinion of the festival and how they operate. I rated them two stars partially due to the email and partially due to the lack of space to move around (it felt very much like a sardine in a can) and the flow of the festival going in the main part was very narrow and not conducive to funneling people into the main room. I would have also liked to see more florists with actual booths set up to talk to, not just a demonstration of floral...

Just recently went to the Veils and Tails event at the Hilton in Greenville. The event was nice but planned terribly. It was literally like being a sardine. You had to hope the crowd would shift so you could move or literally squeeze past people. Didn't have a chance to eat anything or talk to most vendors from the lack of space. They were not prepared for the crowd and you could tell. The people I did get to talk to were very warm and inviting and it was decorated beautifully. I have been a vendor with Wedding Festivals for 8 years, and they always do a superb job of managing their shows. The amount of brides you see is always more than anticipated, and the staff are great to work with. If you are a vendor, make sure you set up in plenty of time to network with other vendors, that's where you will really see a value in...
