I had the pleasure to cater an event there this June. The park is lovely, well manicured and a great place for family. There was also a wedding going on there that day too. My event was in the pavillion. I was first off upset to find out that the beautiful black caged iron receptacles were literally rendered useless by the manager of this space. Apparently they are too hard to open. So instead they placed huge green city of Greer trash cans and placed the yellow lids over the opening of the others. Needless to say, not great for pictures. Also keep on kind the weather when planning your events. There are no fans to help disperse our humid thick southern summer air...lol Flies were another huge issue. Read moreIt looks good. Homeless people are always here though they may not appear that way obviously. Annoying groups come quite often and hog the tables, playground for kids, and free games and entertainment can be great to some people, but to others, we may just have a time w want a quiet moment at the park in peace but instead the entire place is loud and crowded. The same exact music plays day after day and year after year by the fountain. It's annoying. You think they'd change it or add more variety. Weddings are held just about every week. People purpose under that gazebo all the time and the same way. Many women think the man is doing something unique, but actually, it's the main page in Greer people appear to enjoy proposing and getting married. Some like this, some don't. Staff: 9/10 The workers there were buzzing around on their golf cart, making sure everything is clean and in good working order
Atmosphere: 9/10 Very relaxing, peaceful and a great place to walk your dog, sit in quiet contemplation or have a birthday party.
Busy: 7/10 I'm thinking even if this place was busy, it's so big that it wouldn't seem busy or crowded
Overall: 10/10 One of the best parks I've been to, money well spent, well designed and thought out
