Definitely one of the best spots for snorkeling from. We swam out from here and over to Fai Fai beach area and back snorkeling for several hours. Lots of fish and coral though it's better further out. You can follow the pipes right from the beach then go right. Scuba looks good here too. Watch the current and tide. The sand is powdery and white. Very little shade though. Limited parking, though if no events going on people park in the lot for the event center.

Although I was staying at the Westin, which has its own private beach, I decide to go for a walk and check out Gun Beach. The walk took me 15 minutes. And I was definitely not let down. What a beautiful, beautiful beach. You have definitely got the check this place out if you’re ever in the area. Bring a towel, bottles of water and hang out for the day. By the way, your children should be able to manage the surf at this beach.

There is a fantastic restaurant nearby to enjoy a meal with views of Tumon bay and possibly a sunset, which makes for a very romantic evening. The snorkeling or scuba diving is also great here. Just follow the cables out and you will see beautiful marine life. Please be aware the tides and fragile coral!
