I have eaten here three times hoping the experience would get better. It hasn't, if anything it has gotten worse and I am now convinced this place is not worth going. My latest experience was as follows: I had a family of three adults and three children. Eventually after waiting almost 20 minutes to be seated (with no line and plenty of clean open tables), we were put all the way in the back of an obscure room. Our drink orders were never taken and we had no idea what foods was where and where to go. I had to continuously walk around the restraunt to find waiters so I could get my family basics like drinks, straws, and utensils. About 30 minutes into our meal, i see a waiter walk a middle aged gentleman in and they were prompt and curteous to him. They immediately took his drink order and explained the layout of the restraunt. At this point I was very dissappinted. I then had to find someone again to pay the bill. There was plenty of staff to go around, they were just selective on who they wanted to attend to. Perhaps better training would make this place better. Lastly, the options were not great and there were no fresh or cooked veggies to be found. Poor experience overall. Definately not worth the...
Read moreThe Chinese and Japanese offerings were pretty darn good, can rival other hotel restaurants. The roast duck, though a little dry, was still flavorful. The dim sum offerings were perfect in size, just enough to not fill up your tummy. Skip the Hong Kong style crispy chow mein because the sauce is way too congealed. The sushi was fresh and the braised pork belly simply melted in your mouth, no need for the siopao flat bread to go with your pork belly. The green tea and mango custards were yummy. I'm glad all the portions are petite, perfect for getting a taste of everything. Wait staff was very friendly, attentive and quick to clear plates. The only 2 flaws were: 1). the table next door had 2 inattentive parents that allowed their bratty kids to run around and scream - made for a very noisy ambience and 2). There was only 1 cashier so there was a very long queue and it got a little annoying especially when u have customers in one table all paying Dutch, so make sure u pay ahead of the closing rush if u don't want to get stuck in the awful line, felt like going through DPHSS pandemic processing at...
Read moreI've been going here a lot with my family for the buffet and tonight we tried the all you can eat Shabu-shabu/Sukiyaki.
The customer service is always amazing and attentive. One of the best service we've had! Makes us excited to come back again and again. The dining room is beautiful and leaves a lot of room between tables.
We all got Shabu-shabu and was surprised by all you can eat Sushi as well. I believe drinks were endless but may have to ask to be sure.
We ate a lot and the servers were all amazing. Felt very relaxed and welcomed. The attention to detail and care they put into presentation is very noticeable. The desserts were amazing as well. Check for the Sakura Ice cream if they are serving it, I highly recommend it.
Thank you Magellan Staff!!...
