I live in Guilford. All our phones are on ATT. Naturally when we have an issue, it is easier to go there, it's next to my office. So I tried. The first time the crew member sold me a reasonably inexpensive phone for my daughter - he was fully aware price was a factor, so when he proposed a protection screen I assumed $100. Several times I tried to get help there and it seems they compete in how fast they can just tell you (politely) to go somewhere else. Somehow they can never help you. So now I go to ATT Branford where the crew is knowledgeable, helpful, and will take the time to explain what you need to know.
If I were ATT, I would be questioning the impact of the Guilford office on customer satisfaction in general. If people from Guilford have to go to Branford instead, I would seriously consider making the Guilford shop redundant, saving some $$ and improving my image in the process. Or just replace the crew.

Read moreI recently visited the Guilford location to purchase a new phone. The good news is that the process of transferring phones was relatively seamless (thanks technology). However, the representative I worked at the time with told me that due to a promo going on the "Activation/upgrade fee" would be waved. Low and behold once my bill arrived, there was a one-time fee listed. I went back to the store to inquire about the error and see if they could help me resolve the unexpected fee. The area manager at the store told me the previous representative was wrong and that activation fees are never waived, and that he was unable to do anything for me.
So not only was I lied to during my initial visit but there was no accountability from a "manager" to get the issue resolved. I left the store feeling blown off and dismissed. After years of being an AT&T customer, I was treated with such disrespect that I'm now considering moving to a new service....
Read moreKenneth was so helpful! Wonderful customer service. We had gone to the Clinton store first and they were rude. They did not have what we were looking for and were pressuring us into "alternative" items. When we asked what the difference was, all we were told is "this is just better." We left and went to Guilford. Kenneth answered all of our questions and knew about the different products. They didnt have what we were looking for and he called another branch and had it all set up for us to pick up. We will definitely continue with Guilford...
