The most dishonest practice of selling and getting people to sign up for subscriptions and rewards in the business. We had a wonderful experience until we checked out with Gray. He asked about a rewards, I said no thanks. I don’t want to sign up for anything. At the end of the process he said you get three magazines free today. I said okay thanks. What he didn’t say was these were magazine subscriptions and they would have to be canceled. When I realized that he dishonestly signed me up for these subscriptions I refused to sign the slip and asked for the manager. The assistant manager Attic was absolutely zero help. She said sorry the transaction is over and you’ll have to cancel it yourself. Absolutely horrible process. I literally said I didn’t want to sign up for anything at the start of the transaction. i went in there today (3/20) around 1:30 looking for the march 2022 gq of robert pattinson magazine and in the beginning i couldn’t find it but then then the most amazing lady ever found it for me and i cried so hard i don’t know your name but if you’re reading this i hope your life works out in the most jaw dropping amazing way like you made my year by finding that magazine give this lady a raise fr like you a g fr like i don’t think you understand the amount of serotonin that was coursing through my body when you turned around with not one but BOTH magazines in your hands i was ecstatic i will never forget you if i come back and see this lady not getting everything she wants you’ll be hearing from my lawyers (not fr i’m only 16) but still give her whatever she wants because she DESERVES IT YOU ARE THE MOST AMAZING PERSON TO EVER...
   Read morePretty decent customer service, after working nearly 20 years in retail, this is one of the first things I look for. However at a Book store I appreciate a less pushy approach since I usually just want to stroll threw, read a bit, and get some future reading prospects. I have always received a greeting upon entering and leaving, and am typically asked multiple times if I need help. I would probably give a 5 star review except I do not like the pricing. Particularly the, often large, discrepancies between website and store. The merchandising and overall book arangement could be a bit better organized but again that is only the hypercritical retailer in me.
